Leadership is flawed and that starts with Gio! - K-man25
Personally, I think it's probably the guy that fills and/or transports the water bottles...
Seriously guys, at what point do we realize that we're getting a little ridiculous?
When we wanna fire a coach 100 games into his tenure? When we want to ship our #1 and #2 scorers out of town? When the guy that captained our team to 1st in the West and won a Norris despite 45 days of Mike Smith to begin the year is being questioned for his ability to lead?
This team overachieved last year, and we're holding them to that standard - which is fine - but let's not sink the ship because there's a dent in the hull. |

Yup. Worst case if these overpaid athletes cant pull themselves out of this is Tre puts up the redlight special & players to sell would be (in not any particular order)
Hamonic, Brodie, Frolik, Talbot, Czarnik & consider trading Jankowski, Kylllington, Ryan.
The main common denominator is all pending UFA's to be sold before or at the TDL.
Come June at the draft Tre will have cap space coming out the ying yang, lots of picks, hopefully a couple extra late 1st rounders from Hamonic & Brodie & then he can package up futures with some core guys at the draft. But get some damn players with grit & size that have skill. Fill the cupboards & get some players & this could be a quick turnaround. Columbus has no picks, maybe we can get J Anderson for one of the extra late 1sts we will have as GM's get starry eyes at the draft. |

Johnny Hockey, Sean Monohan, Dube, Backlund, Lindholm, Frolik.... ALL BAGS OF MILK!!!! Ive said it a million times dating back to 2016 when the Ducks swept them in the first round the forward group is to easy to force to the outside and create turnovers. And of course the fans say well last year the flames got to 107 points well my answer to that is What happened in playoffs? Now I believe teams have the Coles Notes on the Flames, Pressure the small forward group and they fold!!! One thing they could do to turn it around is BULK UP. |

Hamilton has 23 points in 21 games this year so far. Lindy and Hanifin have 24 combined in 24 games.
Nah. Overall it worked out pretty well for everyone involved I'd say.
Thus far it's turned into:
Elias Lindholm
Noah Hanifin
for
Dougie Hamilton
1 year of Micheal Ferland
Jamieson Rees (31 points in 14 games for Sarnia this year)
Anttoni Honka
Conditional 3rd (will be a 2nd round pick) - BINGO!

After watching the game against the Avs closely I agree with this. They were fortunate to be in the game with under 5 minutes to go. This team doesnt need a trade or a shakeup, they need some give-a-hoot. To their credit, Looch and Ryan did exert that effort more than the rest of the squad, but it also exposes the star players when the grinders are generating more offense than you. - Udogs
Agree, that was probably Looch's best game as a Flame. Good things were happening with that line on the ice (Lucic Ryan Dube).
I think we should still move Frolik--he should be playing every night but he's redundant in our lineup now. We probably have to sell low on Brodie and Janko, I'd rather keep them than do that. |

Think Looch had his best week as a Flame this week, showed small flashes of speed, was a physical presence without punching people's noses, setup some nice plays. Really solid 3 game stretch, made to look all the better when the rest of the team is struggling to do much |

Yes, we should probably move Frolik. BT has been trying for a year. The thing is be careful, Fro is a hellova penalty killer and plays D like crazy. Kinda a guy you want in the playoffs. |

At this rate flames wont need to worry about playoffs. Leafs got rid of Babcock, what r the flames going to do? |

If you’re suggesting getting rid of Peters you’re effing crazy! |

LBD conspiracy theory time: I am almost positive that Johnny was getting a little reckless with the coke and management wanted to put an end to it.
Being a leader, I think Monny endorsed the idea which soured the friendship.
Would explain the lack of Johnny pep in his step and the weird and sudden drop of interaction/chemistry between JG and SM. |

You could be right on that one, Kipper was a coker from what I heard but nobody stopped him because it made his game better. I think the team needs a fire sale.
