Funny the slide started with LE entering the line up. Joking aside what could the in room distraction be to fuddle up their execution and coverage?

This seems more like a bunch of new guys that haven't gelled enough. Things were well balanced when healthy. But come the injuries and schedule challenges and they are out of sync.

I thought Hughes had a really good game tonight, he did some nice things defensively and was moving the puck nicely. Tanev is just a solid player, who seldom makes mistakes.

Looked like a classic game of one team struggling and the other red hot, marky hasn't been good since his father passed, pp looks bad, gotta score first can't play from behind every game it's to hard in this league.

I am a bit of a Hughes critic , but I really liked his game tonight at both ends of the ice. He is showing some nice improvements, during this losing period, in the defensive zone. Good on him. His offense I am not worried about.

Totally over his head. The dumb(frank) doesn’t know which skillsets make for possible chemistry... so we have to sit through his experiments.

Well he’s certainly not being used properly or given an opportunity that makes the most of what he has to offer. Someone will get a relative bargain next year - hope it’s us. He’d be an ideal partner for Rathbone IMO.

The first game I was unable to watch live this season, we went to a fundraiser for a childhood friend of my wife who owns a masonry company that builds schools in developing countries. Donated $1000 to their cause.

Anyway, I don’t think this trip bodes well for the Canucks. Pettersson is fighting it and we really don’t have a second line.
