The consensus was the Myers was also a bad defender sheltered on a strong Winnipeg team, and he’s held his own here. If you can get Barrie and play him in Stecher’s role while quarterbacking PP2 instead of Edler, I’d do that in a heartbeat.

I want to replace Stecher this year at TDL with Rafferty. Sign Rathbone at the end of the year , give him a few games up here and then send him to Utica for a year.

That's what you get with offensive-minded dmen risk/reward.

His +/- isn't great granted but you don't bury a 60 point dman in the second pairing with little to no PP1 time.

im going to get flack for this, but have you ever seen someone with such shltty passing on the first unit powerplay? If Boeser isn't teeing up a shot from the point, i am scared every time he touches it because his passes are awful, and are half the time picked off.

It’s not just passing. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen him win a puck battle. He makes five bad plays for every good play.
