I heard he turning down good trade offers left & right - jdfitz77
I assume he's waiting for someone to offer him a vesey/sheary-caliber player for a 3rd. Those kind of trades dont grow on trees |

Pegula hired and supported a GM who’s plan was to take a great setup for a rebuild and trade away all our assets for players right away when the top picks we tanked for weren’t even close to ready.
The strategy of trading for Kane and O’Reilly early before the top picks matured was flawed and although most loved it at the time, anyone with a brain could see it was unnecessary risk.
We took a situation where we had accumulated so many picks and assets and traded it away to get better right away, at the cost of picking high for a few more year, drafting and developing our prospects, just because Pegula bought into Murray’s egomaniac philosophy.
That’s 100% on Pegula. He hired and supported what Murray wanted to do. Murray came in saying rebuilds don’t have to take years, and our dimwit owner bought into it.
The current state of the Sabres is 100% Pegula’s fault.
If we had done a conventional rebuild, with all the draft picks and assets Darcy had acquired, we would be in a very different situation right now. We had one of the highest ranked prospect pools at the time along with many extra high draft picks accumulated.

That is a recipe for no success. Yes, on a year with a really, really weak schedule you can run up 10 wins because of the defense (who is 100% legit). But, you're not beating any complete team with a high school offense. And, frankly, that's what he is best at running. We haven't seen the best of Josh Allen yet because they keep trying to call passing plays for him like he can break down a defense. I'd love to see a game where they have 20+ RPOs or designed runs for him. If the Bills did that, they could maybe win a playoff game. Not going to win a SB that way, but I'd love to see one playoff win. - lacaprup
Success comes by scoring points, doesn't matter if they do it passing or running. Do they need to score more touchdowns, of course, they have been able to drive the ball just not finish, some of that is Allen, but that falls on the other 10 guys not making mistakes. To many drives have been killed by penalties and dropped balls. Allen is progressing, he still needs to work on things. Success comes on how the whole team plays. |

What jump? He needs to learn how to play QB and not RB. He still routinely misses open receivers down the field on long passes, and frequently misses wide open receivers because he cannot go through his progressions fast enough. Those are huge problems. Career-defining problems. - lacaprup
I really can't believe Bill's fans are complaining about josh allen?
After all the terrible QBs over the past 20 years.
Josh just won the afc player of the week
Guys great in the community
The Bill's are 7-3
Enjoy your misery

ehhh...... Until the Bills can score points regularly they are nothing more than mediocre playing an EXTREMELY WEAK schedule. The AFC has a lot of bottom feeders - and the Bills beat those teams - but they can't beat a good team.
Josh Allen is QBing in the most pass-friendly NFL in 100 years of NFL, and he still cannot sniff 300 yards in one game. He's nothing more than a placeholder until we find a real franchise QB. He's done nothing Tyrod hasn't done, and against a much easier schedule than Tyrod played.
Does anyone really think they'll be within 15 points of Baltimore? - lacaprup
If the Bills find a way to lose this week I’m scared for the city of Buffalo.
With Cowboys, Ravens, Steelers, Pats coming up they will be in tough. |

Reminds me of the “we are 7-0-1 and screw your fancy stats”.
The Bills are 0-3 against teams with a shot at the playoffs this year.
They very well might be playing for their season this week.

The Bills will have to figure out the QB option misdirection that the Broncos run with the 2 backfield options. It's well known that's the weakness of the Bills LBs. If that's successful, I think the Broncos will win |

I was also on board with the Sabres this season:
New coach. 4 or 5 new faces. Internal growth
I'm not expecting the Bill's to win the superbowl this season, but why not enjoy wins and a good record?
Broncos fans should be worried, they are in purgatory.
No qb and not picking early.

I’m sure gms are lowballing him on trades.
I mean at this point in the season. What “big name” are available.
Toffoli
Johnny hockey
Zucker
AA from the wings
That is really about it rumor wise. Behind closed doors it might be a different story.
I would not he shocked if someone called about Eichel |

Brandon Allen had himself a day against the Browns but last week showed why he has 2 career starts in 4 years. I still can’t believe how good that team looked in the first half last week and managed to get 2 first downs in the second half and blow a 20 point lead.
Double Sutton the whole day and stack the box and you’ll win.
If the Broncos get Lindsay and Freeman going though it will be interesting. |

It sucks when our teams lose.
Its sucks for some "fans" when our teams win?
Bill's and allen played their best game of the season and that's not good enough? |

And that also is a problem.
Think about it .... botts struck gold with that skinner deal. He has since tried for another one of those deals with
Sheary, Miller, and vesey. All of which have not worked out. (Miller has been solid but not great)
So basically you give up trash ..... you get trash in return. A 3rd round pick in the nhl draft has little value. |

One of his TD passes was an interception that Sutton robbed from Ward
The other was Fant breaking 5 tackles on a 7 yard pass and taking it 75 yards
He was like 10-18 for 80 yards outside of that |

Very true Pegs, this next month will tell the tale. Can the offense keep growing from there effort last week. |

Wonder if Zucker and Ryan or Fiala and Foligno could be plucked from the Wild and what it would take. - Buff36
I'd much rather go after Mikko Koivu, C, 35 ...sure he is old, but on an expiring contract.
Perhaps he would agree to play 2C for another year or 2 on an incentive laden contract. He would be a great on-ice coach for Casey and even Cozens if he agreed to play a bit longer.
How much could Minny really ask for, send them Scandella back or Nelson, and a 3rd conditioned on him re-signing for 2 years

Doesn’t help that we don’t know what we have in Drew Lock due to his injury but the average age of our offence is 25.
If Lock is the guy we are set.

You would have let skinner walk?
Definitely a different perspective, not having to sell tickets and all.
Seriously, skinner would have paid the same else where
Maybe we overpaid by a million- to save a Good portion of the fan base |
