And without the shot past the heavily padded man guarding a 4x6 net, there is no goal.
This is rivaling your "Men don't really love their children" comment.
You are acting like Giroux stickhandled through the entire team and make a backhand no-look pass to Frost who had a gaping hole and tapped it in. I won't ague that it wasn't a great win and orchestration by Giroux. But when you say one-timing the puck from just outside the circle has little to do with a goal...no, I do not agree in the slightest. - jmatchett383
So g was really only responsible for the one goal. Got two great passes to score his two goals. While the one was placed extremely well without tk and frost setting up tap ins...., not sure what to say. Making a pass around the perimeter of a power play and having your d man rocket a perfect placed shot not to mention the screen. Yeah that was all g. |

Nice to see Giroux have a game. Say it with me now: consistency. |

Through two games of Morgan Frost, I’m seeing him do a lot of the work downlow around the net and along the boards with Konecny, with Giroux staying back. Frost is taking a good number of faceoffs with G taking the other half or so. Am I wrong in believing that Frost is taking a more wing approach than center? |

So konecny is our best player this season?
I remember during his negotiations thst his usage was a big concern of konecny and his agent.
Another moment of Hak misusing him?
TK seems to have a really strong game going here. He is driving play no matter what line he is on - sILKAsSINASALO
I agree with you but it could be that he is growing and getting better, rather then blaming his misuse by Hak.
For example, he would pretty regularly fumble pucks on the boards when he was on the half wall on the power play last season. Now he gets the puck, moves into a scoring position and makes a play. A lot of it is confidence which could go back to his coaching but I think he is just really developing into a better player. |

He had an interview when he explained this past summer he did a deep look at what type of player he wanted to be and what he knew he could do on the every night basis. Having a great start so far. |

I think you are right. G is gettting plenty of draws and I think is playing the high man/C position a lot.
So much skill on that line. My fear is they could get pinned in their D zone for extended time. I may be wrong as Frost seems to have a very good stick breaking up plays defensively.
If they possess the puck they won’t gave to worry about the D zone as much. |

26-year-old California kid vs. 46-year-old Texas man. Never mess with an old Texan.

With his speed and shot I’d love to see him on the PK someday. Lots of breakaway shorties! |

Agree he's looked great behind the net and along the boards. He hasn't taken many faceoffs though. Only took 1 against Carolina. |

Are all of your "OMG The Flyers lost to a team that had been outscored 23-5" comments prepared? - jmatchett383
Honestly, given this team's recent history, would it shock you if they lost Saturday? |

It wouldn't shock me if any team lost to any team. Washington just lost to NYR and Ottawa beat Carolina. |

Dude's last-ever pitch, at 46 years old, was 98MPH.
It was his last pitch because he had torn a ligament the pitch before but he wanted to try to play through it. |

Anyone else think of briere with frost wearing number 48 with that quick release and deceptive plays. - Peter Richards
No because he hasn't pissed me off with failing to play defensively. |

Well Giroux's first 3 points had little to do with Frost. Didnt see the 4th but assuming that had more to do with Frost
-Goal off a sneaky pass by Konecny
-Assist on Provorovs PP goal
-Assist Shorthanded off a faceoff win - xShoot4WarAmpsx
Little to do with Frost? Does Giroux get an assist if Frost doesn't bury the shot on the shorthanded goal?

Myers gas been a revelation on the backend. Hes been our second best defenseman after Provy - bulet13
Myers has been very good overall but I'd rank Niskanen ahead of him. Niskanen's contributions in all areas has been underrated. |

No you are not understanding my point. My point is Giroux is the Catalyst. You are making my comment into more than it is. The whole thing was to say Giroux got points because he is a top player not because Frost played with him.
Secondly I never said Men dont love their children. Again another instance of you twisting the words I typed but Im not opening that can of worms again. Really dont want to have 20+ pages of comments on that again |

No but he's going to get an assist regardless of who the shooter is. which is my point. Frost did not carry Giroux. |
