Where did I say it had nothing to do with Frost. My exact words were it had little to do with Frost. Giroux was dominant last night because he was dominant. He made 3 of those 4 points happen.
- xShoot4WarAmpsx

That's just semantics. The statement you made wasn't well thought out. If Frost doesn't bury the shot, all Giroux gets is a FO win in the stats.

Let’s not forget the groin injury in preseason and that he gained experience and made noticeable improvement with the Phantoms. It was always when and not if, based on his talent, that he would be on the Flyers. He is going to be developing for a while. There will be highs (like now) and lows to come. We need to remain patient. It was the right call for him to start in the AHL and it was the right call that he is helping the Flyers now. Fun to watch.

I await the dreaded Sophomore Week Slump.
Then we set out hair on fire, if I remember correctly.

No but he's going to get an assist regardless of who the shooter is. which is my point. Frost did not carry Giroux.

You really don't have a point.

Depends, are the excuse makers and yes men "Calgary was due to win a game" comments prepared?

And I expect the Flyers to win handily tomorrow, Calgary is awful.

Stop lying. Everyone knows you're salivating at the thought of the Flyers losing to this team, so you can do your usual schtick.

Myers has been very good overall but I'd rank Niskanen ahead of him. Niskanen's contributions in all areas has been underrated.
- MJL

I think Niskanen has also contributed to the overall improvement of Provorov this year.

Agreed.

Not sure how anyone can't not be happy with what Nisk brings game in and game out.

Niskanen not only has been solid in 5 on 5 as a partner for Provorov, he has also been a big factor in the improvement in the Flyers special teams. Myers has been good for a rookie but hasn't been close to making the same impact as Niskanen has.

This. He might even show up in the comments section during the game if Calgary scores first.

I’d say considering everything niskanen has been their best dman game in and game out. Seems like we got the solid niskanen and not the niskanen from last year that was coming off an injury

Players in the AHL are the same size, they're just not as good.

I think Niskanen should be wearing a letter ahead of Hayes.

he is a complete player, size, can skate, patient with the puck and uses his size very well. His body position is real good before he passes or shoots.

Totally expected.

BTW, someone who had a really solid game last night I thought was Hagg. It wasn't his fault on that 3rd goal...everyone else practically left the zone while he was stuck defending a 3 on 1.
