I certainly think that had an impact. It was sad it had to come to that, there was no life to the team at that point.
Why is your best scoring threat fighting? I get Girgs doesn't do that type of stuff, but that is traditionally falls to the person occupying his line.
No, I don't want a goon, but I also don't want the person with a 100 point potential season doing it for sure. - gcomella34
Good post
Hopefully it was enough to earn some respect.
Other guys on the team notice the same things we notice at the game. 1 example was the guy standing over eichel after crushing him. He got up and did nothing |

So if the Bills need two more victories, and the Jets are one of them, where is the other victory coming from?
All of a sudden, I'm afraid. |

Ready for "nice try" or ",I'm not passing along anymore info" in ........ - Boss34
Way off topic, not an accusation but a request....
If memory serves you were pretty rough on Samson there for a while, he wasn't producing like he should have but eventually came around.
Any chance you could start that with Mitts? Maybe it works again. |

Lol. Really? Now teams are conferring w the player, who has no clause whatsoever? Not.
They don't have to ask or tell the player ANYTHING.
They can just trade him. What do the Kings care? - Powerslave
Aren’t there cap implications for the trading team if a player retires. Even if the player is traded, the original signing team can get whacked... or is that the nfl? Or I am crazy. Let me google.
Edit... this is what I was thinking. So a team may talk to a player about being traded because there could be cap implications or language in the trade that voids it if the player doesn’t report.
TIL that if Roberto Luongo retires 1 year before his contract expires, the Vancouver Canucks will face an 8.5 million dollar cap recapture penalty. |

I still don't think sam is a core guy the Sabres should. Build off of. Mitts wasnt the 1st forward picked in his draft. Expectations are different.
Also: mitts hasnt played at all with eichel.
Maybe that would work better than being hard on him.
I'm done if they give sam a long term high $ contract. |

I said last week the Bills were playing for their season on Sunday.
With that win, and the Raiders choking, I think the Bills are a lock now. Beat the Jets and Steeers and they are in.
The only question now is if they are going to go into Kansas City or into Houston. |

It is called the rescapture penalty, and the exact reason why Carter can threaten to retire. |

I caught a little of the game last night and what really stick out to me was, Holy poop there is NOBODY in the stands!!
If there was 7500 ppl there it would be a lot. - hehateme
Attendance was over 14k. The seats right behind the players' benches are more expensive club seats. They are rarely full, people sit on other side where camera shot doesn't show, or they go up to sit in club level. It makes it look much worse than it is. I wish the owners would change that arrangement for hockey games. |

The Bills OC finally smelling the roses and figuring out a balanced offensive attack will only help the defence more will help the Bills.
Singletary was a beast yesterday and the Broncos run defence has been very stout this year. They held Dalvin Cook to almost nothing the week before. |

I think the eichel "fight" turned the season around.
Everyone has a lot more respect for their captain - Boss34
The fact he has 10 points in his last 5 games helps as well. 9 of those primary points which is even more impressive. |

"I’m 20 games from 1,000, so I don’t think I’m retiring,” said the two-time Stanley Cup champion. “I have three years left on my contract. I want to be an LA King. I want to help change things around here, but I don’t have no-trade protection so whatever happens, happens.”
Then, just as we were about to move on, with a very serious facial expression and a near death stare back, Carter added, “And I never talked about retiring either. That never came out of my mouth.” |
