I wonder how many times Oilers and 49ers fans have asked themselves that same question over the last 5 years prior to this one.

They sucked in that 3rd period. They have played 8/9 good periods these last three games. Rask stoke one for Boston, they buried their chances against Florida, and were better then the Lightning until a terrible 2 minute stretch in the 3rd period.

They are not a bottom 5 team, might not even be a bottom 10 team. There are still a ton of games to be played.

I won’t argue that. The good news, is that Eichel has firmly established himself as a top 10 C in the NHL

Olofsson has points in 8 of his last 10 games.

Reinhart is playing at a career setting pace.

Skinner is a proven scorer even though I’m not a fan of the contract.

Dahlin has been better since I ditched the alt account that jinxed him.

It's sad to watch. This is the 2nd time in 3 games against Tampa that one of our players got taken out by a scum hit and absolutely no response from the team. Luke Schenn was teeing off on guys all night, no response from the team. They literally didn't show a Gerber (Carubba) hit of the game because they couldn't find one from the Sabres. The lack of passion with this squad concerns me more than the loss.

Hard to picture George Parros having a big problem with this hit. Maybe a fine? They might just point to the fact no penalty was called on the play, and shrug their shoulders.
