Absolutely. All kidding aside they had a great first then pretty much crapped the bed. Let’s see how they respond tomorrow. Couldn’t be facing a better team to bounce back. |

#Isles Barry Trotz ended his media scrum by saying he's been patient with some players. Sort of left it hanging with the implication that he might not be so patient anymore. |

Sounds like Mr. Eberle could be one of those players |

Indeed Chief. Could Eberle be a player that gets traded instead of Bailey in the offseason? Bailey would probably be easier to move at this point. |

I’m not worried but there have been a few important players underperforming which Trotz pointed out in the post game. I hope that doesn’t translate to increased ice time for players like Johnston who was flat out awful last night or Komarov somehow getting an increased role. Trotz has gotten us this far we’ll see what he does tomorrow. |

I would think Eberle and Lee are tops on that list. Bailey made quite a few egregious gaffes last night as well but centering johnston last night wasn’t an ideal situation so I’ll give him a bit of a pass😂 |

Not a chance. They just signed him and he’ll snap out of this. Pretty much par for the course with him he’s a streaky player. |

Seriously they had major issues moving the puck successfully. But the streak wasn't going to last forever and it feels like a lot of winning/point streaks tend to come to a pretty unceremonious end. Like Trotz said though, the biggest game after a loss is the next game. I fully expect them to bounce back to form in short-order.
Boy is it nice to see them lose a stinker and really not care all that much |

I have no doubt Eberle will get better. He still does not seem like a Barry type player and I still worry about Eberle during a tough playoff series. |

I liked bardreau in the lineup and wahlstrom even though he needs more time in the ahl, they had fire and wanted to stay and played that way |

Yep that’s the most important thing. Their response which I’m sure will be throttling the Kings to get back on track. |

If Lameriello didn’t consider him a Barry type player he wouldn’t have signed him to a long term deal. |

Funny I forgot about Bardeau. He did leave a positive impression imo. Wahlstrom needs some more time. I think next time he gets called up he’s going to make an impact. |

If there's only one fight, and Johnston isn't in it, then he's not doing his job. It's not like he's particularly good at anything else. On the other hand, he does still have more goals this season than Eberle. |
