The crazy part about mittlestadt is his development.
He had a good freshman year in college and completely dominated the world juniors. Things seemed to be going great. Played his 6 games in the nhl after and got 5 points.
After that ..... he hit a brick wall and haven’t gotten any better. Like what the heck happened - Sabretooth9

Does Botterill have an issue with black players? Hasn't drafted a black player yet, signed one, or traded for one. But has traded black players at any given opportunity Little suspicious from Botts.
Traded
Evander Kane
Justin Bailey
Nicolas Baptiste
Devante Stephens
Okposo better watch out. He might be next. - RawDog

Well now that Botts is a racist, let's discuss top-10 picks.
Bring back Teddy Nolan.
This. Team. Has. No. Heart.
I still blame the uniforms to some extent. |

No Kyle Turris again. This appears to be a case of irreconcilable coach-player differences. That happens, but every player doesn't make $6 million. [url]https://twitter.cI’m
Are we at this point for another 4 years at $6 mill per... 🤢. I means he’s a 30 year old center who’s 6’1”.... |

They spilt up McCabe and risto
Not McCabe's fault yesterday. Didnt even dress.
-wetbandit - there must be all kind of mixed emotions.
Sabres lose another player to a dirty hit, but god forbid we add a tough guy.
I blame you as much as jbotts. Both of you do not understand hockey . Maroon could/should have been on our team last night - Boss34
Jesus fuc-king Christ, Cookies. How many times are you going to misrepresent what I've said? I've never once said they couldn't use some toughness. What I've said is I'm not paying big money for it.
Tom Wilson finally, mostly anyway, knocked off the bullpoop and he's become a much better player. Going from roughly a minor a game to one every other game.
Bogo loves to fight, where was he last night?
You know what the Sabres need? Guys who can score goals. |

I’m tending to agree with Pach. Noting major will happen this year. It would have already. All of the teams can smell the desperation on us and are lowballing Botts. No sense in giving away a Risto or Macabe if a solid 2c is not coming our way as part of the package. It’s not. Trade deadline is out next crack at getting what we want but by then no one is going to move a solid center |

Wanna know what will get me fully off the Botts train?
McCabe and Risto both being here next season.
Friedman mentioned Colin Miller in trade talks.
Trading him so we can keep the guys who have been bad forever is moronic |

Pssst, Miller is not that good defensively and I think the Sabres brass see that. They also see that he he can't hit the broad side of a barn with a shot. Another guy you wished for the seems to be a miss. Like I said you should stay away from at least the Dmen with your opining. There was a reason why a rock-solid GM in LV gave him away for a 3rd. |

Now you're a Tom Wilson fan - great, I'm sure you would still rather have sam.
Guys who score goals didnt prevent a second cheap poop in 3 games vs. Tampa
Notice maroon around the net all 3 games?
Again too tough for you - backdoorbandit

My point was we already knew what we had w Pominville.
You can't fault Botts for trying something different, such as Vesey. - Powerslave
As I’ve said watching Vesey with the Rangers the last 3 years, he’s extremely steaky. I think he went 17 games last year without a goal. He almost scored again the next ship after his breakaway goal. He’s the type of player who scores 7 goals in 7 games and then we all love him when he’s on his 17 goal/season pace |

Well more than likely the guy Botts expected to trade in Risto can’t garner much because he’s pretty bad. And McCabe just got sat for being awful. So it’s a step in the right direction |

they were also on pace last year for more points, yet it didn't happen
bottom line, the team is not getting better
the team still does not stand up for their team mates
the team still lays eggs in the third period of close games (out shot 15-3 in the third)
I don't know if it's the coach, players, or gm
but something has to give, this can't continue and to assume prospects are going to be the saviors, is wrong
move hutton now, call up johansson
move mcabe, scandella, bogo now, call up pilut and borgen
if your leaving asplund with the big club, move casey to wing now, he is not getting it done as a center
and under no circumstance should olofsson ever get 5 more minutes of ice time then skinner - homiedclown
I would devise a series of Saw-like death trap puzzles and lock them in an abandoned warehouse downtown for them to learn how to be a team, if Girgensons or McCabe have to die gruesome deaths along the way, so be it.

Cernak 2 games - lulags
Should've been 4 or 5. It was blatant, he wasn't finishing his check and Dahlin ducked into it like we've seen from some of these headshots, Dahlin essentially skated right into Cernak's elbow coming up to meet his head. |

A little info for you: While Tim Murray was the GM he made 22 trades.and with his drafts there are only 6 players left. Reinhart-Oloffson-Asplund-Johansson-Borgen-Fitzgersld. He inherited the 2nd ranked prospect pool in the league. Which he in turn used with multiple picks to use as trade bait which in turnlooks to be the only 1 left from all those trades is Bogosian. Yes Botts traded ROR and Kane away. Murray left a huge hole in the system trading away young prospects that should have been filling roster spots the last few years. And a little gem, one of those 2nd rnd picks traded to the Kings for Fasching, sorry can't remember the other guy, ended up going to Tampa and turned into Cernak who took out are Generational Dman last night. Reading over some of the stuff, Botts was handed the keys to a poop storm. |
