Unless he meant trading the pick after season and lotto took place and we happened to be sitting at 8.
Even in that case it’s tough to move that pick. - Pegullaville
I can see it now:
With the 8th overall pick, Jason Botterill selects Jamie Drysdale, RD, Erie Otters |

What if he says frank it and takes Askarov. Then you have Askarov and UPL and damn if one of those guys doesn’t work out this city is beyond cursed. |

The caveat is a really good player makes our team better and probably not bottom 10, therefore devaluing the first - sbroads24

The 2nd and 3rd line = 😅😂😂
Sabres’ morning skate:
Olofsson-Eichel-Reinhart
Vesey-Johansson-Mittelstadt
SKINNER-LARSSON-SHEARY
Girgensons-Asplund-Dea/Lazar
McCabe-Bogosian
Montour-Ristolainen
Scandella-Jokiharju
Miller rotating in - kingcong39
Is he trying to SPREAD OUT the scoring, or
KILL OFF the scoring??
I need to know. |

I agree, but from what people say on this board, everybody sucks, so what pieces do we have to entice. - Buff36
Sam. Montour. Joker. Picks and prospects.
Skinner’s contract is too hefty.
I don’t see JB getting rid of Dahlin or Jack.
Do you see a large league wide demand for Larsson, Girgs, Vesey, Sheary, Bogo, Okposo, Scandella? |

Cobblestone or 716 for wings ?
I’ve been to 716 a few times but haven’t ate there.
Don’t have time to go to Gabriel’s Gate unfortunately - Pegullaville
Cobblestone
Good wings , close to the arena.
Some miserable old fart is going to tell you otherwise, you know, because he's a F*ckface

Why the frank is my 9 million dollar 40 goal scorer on the franking 3 line with Lockport larry & Oh Sheary? JFC Ralph bump franking Vesey down or Middlefat Skinner is not a 3rd liner.

I am partial to the Swannie House, but that place is a franking zoo on Game Days but they do have good wings.

Swannie house is relatively cheap, good wings, a bit of a walk.
New labatt house has good wings, but also gonna be packed
Chicken fingers are awesome at the pearl, better then the wings in my opinion |

believe it or not, the Casino's wings are not horrible, way better then some local places I have had them from. And they run a $2.00 Blue special before the game. That where I am usually before and after game days.

Meh.
The board can't agree on who sucks and why.
Opinion vary on nearly everything and everybody.
Other boards have the same issue.
Botts has enough assets to get a couple deals done, and then to trade off some of his pending UFa's at the TDL.
I would think Risto, McCabe, even Miller or Montour could be the main pieces in trades.
UFA's Sheary, Vesey, Scandella, Bogo could be mixed into a package or should garner varying degrees of draft picks in return at the TDL. Asplund, Tage, Borgen and some others could be packaged in as prospects. And Sabres could hold salary on the UFA's (to limit the retention commitment to this year only) to make the deal represent money in/out as necessary.
I would think that if Botts is depending on appealing to the FA market in the offseason for the Grand Turnaround, then he would want to have the team playing well to show those he wishes to pursue that team can actually be ready to qualify for the PO's and eventually contend.
Limping into the offseason on a wing and a prayer won't go very far except to get some 4th line replacements. |

I'm not sure if trading montour helps this club?
He seems like a gritty core type guy. Botts traded quite a but for him too. Gave up more assests for him, than the rest of the trades combined.
1 of maybe 5 safe guys ?
Eichel
Dahlin
Skinner
Montour
Joker
People (crags) forget that we traded ror and ek9 for futures. The future is hopefully soon. That's a sign of a rebuilding team. Both in the past 2 years. It takes time for futures to be presents

Can Freddie get the crew to play a solid game?
For the most part, he has the team in most of the last several games playing reasonably well, except for the Special Teams.
Let's go bold and have the boys playing like Professionals on Amateur Night...

From what Botterill said on GR they might be waiting on someone to return from LTIR so that other team has cap room to make the deal.
Also said one of the trades they made in the last year took 14 months to materialize.
Guessing Montour or Skinner |
