Varlamov sucks moose balls. He’s playing exactly as he has for the last four seasons not overly shocked by it. If the reason for a four year, pretty damn lucrative contract for what he’s done was to get Sorokin over I have an issue with that as I’ve stated before. If that’s what it takes to get an unproven kid over here I don’t want him. Potentially not having Greiss next season is a scary thought right now imo.

Pretty strange that Trotz thought they played a good game. Not sure what he was watching? Save for the first ten mins of the first I thought they were awful all the way around.

I would not worry about goalies , l would be more worried about finding a third line center to get that line going. Bailey a better fit at wing and appears Brassard is as well .....big hole to fill hope Lou working phones.

He hasn’t really had too. Argument could be made for the last trade deadline but not sure if there was anything there for us besides Stone? We just came off of a 17 game point streak. I thought we played maybe our best game of the season against San Jose followed by two stinkers. If that becomes more of a trend then we have a problem but we’re far from that right now imo.

Its a little bit of a crazy thought but I can’t think of another reason why they didn’t sign Lehner and signed him to a four year contract? He was terrible with Colorado the previous season to the point he wasn’t their starter anymore. His last few seasons weren’t good either.

I think it was odd it was four years and five million per on top of it. Who the hell was giving that guy a contract let alone one like that the way he has played for the last few years? I would almost rather believe they did it for Sorokin because that actually gives the ridiculous contract at least some semblance of reason and a tiny bit of understanding even though I don’t/wouldn’t agree with it in any way.
