They need to go get Kreider.

What about Toffoli? I like the idea of another right handed shot. I've never been a huge fan of Kreider. I've see a ton of games where he seems to coast too much.

Would like that addition, especially as he may cost just a 2nd and maybe some mid prospect. But hell, our 2nd belongs to VGK for giving them their first franchise player. So, what can we offer NYR for Kreider?

Probably leas than other teams could.

I would start by gauging their interest in either Bjugstad or Galchenyuk and go from there.

Maybe a 3rd this year and a conditional 2nd next year where it becomes a first if the Pens make it to the cup this year or they re-sign him.

Not really sure...

He's definitely on my list, but I like the type of game Kreider brings.

I read that, but they called up Blandisi, so I don’t think he’s 100% good to go.

Yeah, at least one reporter said Rust had a slight limp. Hopefully he can go tonight.

I guess at the very worst it sounds like he'd only miss this game.

I like Toffoli as a fit. Cheaper target. He's actually playing pretty well.

I think I’d aim higher and go for Drouin. Reminds of a crappier malkin. Can dominate when he wants and screw everything up when he wants. Doubt they want Galch back but maybe Bugstad, next years 2nd, a decent prospect and a promise to try and beat tor or Boston

He's definitely a more realistic target.

I had a good laugh at the article with Brian Burke where he said they were going to trade for Ristolainen.

“We were thinking about making a trade for him in Calgary," Brian Burke, the former president of hockey operations for the Flames, said last week during a panel discussion in Toronto. "And we actually got several phone calls into this trade, and our analytics guy said, 'You guys are out of your minds.'"

Burke added, "Chris Snow is our analytics guy - he's a genius. He says don't do a deal, we don't do a deal.”

😂😂😂

Guess gmjr doesn’t listen as well

We have two of the best players in the world and supplying both of them with top notch wingers is cost prohibative if you want good secondary scoring.
Back in the old days of the oil and Isles it might have happened but it will not happen again anytie soon.

All it takes is to catch a patch of bad ice or lose an edge and then hit the boards

While I'm a fan of Simon I think this is a good opportunity for them to try Galchenyuk on his off-wing maybe putting him in better scoring position. His value is going to tank big time playing on the fourth line.
