Nothing happened that I heard, doesn't make sense to me. Botts is going to have to trade a D man or 2 there is no way around it. We need 2 guys in the top 6 and 1 is a second line center. Adding another bottom 6 and plugging him into the top 6 is a complete waste, why make a deal at all then.

Why would he take calls on Miller if he wasn't expendable enough to trade. I get that he has to give up a D he would like to keep, but it seems Risto isn't one of them tho.

I’d rather see them go D to D then make a bad breakout pass. That said, some of those D to Ds were risky. Needs to be on the tape not in the skates. Same with breakout passes!

I have figured Out one good / consistent thing the Sabres do

Kings of the perimeter shot and not getting in The dirty areas. Leads to not scoring or lack of chances.
