Do they call interference anymore? Seems like the D get to clutch and grab zone entry forwards...

So...the Pens in the playoffs.

This injury bug is really just crazy. It doesn’t feel like it will end.

Blues have been suffering injuries also. Avs and I think the Jets as well. It’s been crazy this season so far.

Didn’t watch most of the game due to drinking and getting up early but I watched enough to tell me Simon is s terrible hockey player, and probably a bad human being. Lafferty should take him out of the lineup when healthy. And it might be time to put Sullivan out to pasture.

Going to be a tough stretch with so many great players out of the lineup.

Seriously, a forward gets injured in the morning skate and we're forced to play our extra LD at wing. Next game we start with enough forwards and lose our top LD on the first shift.

"We'll never have this situation again."

Seems like the Pens are getting to their breaking point. Too many injuries to overcome. They desperately need stellar tending and are getting the opposite. The Pens largely out-played the Blues last night but lost the battle in net. Time to go with Jarry for the most part.

They are going to have to make a move or two at this point.

I agree and that worries me. Making a move out of desperation won't end well.

Instead of Hall the Pens should be looking more at Subban. Not because I want PK here but because of the need factor.

Man this season has really hit early twenty tens level of important man games lost. The injuries have been absurd.

How is Vatanen these days? He's 2 yrs younger than PK and his cap is 50% also a UFA. Seems like a smarter choice.

I think signing Hall is actually very possible with quite a few young guys ready to take the next step. Plus they’ll be letting go of Galch (meh) and Schultz. JR needs to work some magic though and be able to move Hornqvist, Bjugstad, and Johnson. I could see McCann getting a Rust type deal and Kahun getting a little less. The biggest issue may revolve around Murray’s deal.

I wonder if Legare and a 1st would be enough for Hall. Throw in a conditional pick for if he resigns

Either way, I went with PK because EK said he was available as well.

PK might be taking a step back and his contract is grotesque. I'd rather find a stopgap solution. Something that doesn't have dramatic future cap consequences.

I agree, I am not interested in PK being a Pen. I was referring to the fact Ek said Hall and PK were available. I want them to look elsewhere. Don’t need more assets going to the Devils who with all the youth can be scarey in the not so distant future.
