Read it but didn't get it. You're off base in blaming Wentz in this game.

eagles lose but i get to look at this
- 2Real
I had Jeffery on the bench today because I thought they'd be up the whole time and wouldn't need to throw a bunch. |

He wasnt the main culprit but he still wasnt good and was outplayed by Fitzpatrick with inferior weapons
This is the type of game they need Wentz to be their best player and he wasnt close to providing it today - KINGKENZO
Just can't agree with this.
Today's loss isn't on Wentz, it's on the secondary and Ertz.
Thought Wentz played fine.

I kept thinking that this Eagles team was just a team that was decimated by injury and once they got healthy they would be good. I need to stop thinking that. This is a bad football team. I don't know if they think they won a SB so all they have to do is show up or what. The Dolphins came into the game averaging 14 points a game and had scored 28 times the entire season. They scored on 6 straight drives against the Eagles. Embarrasing. |

300 yards passing and 3 tds is still a good game. It’s also not easy when has guys still dropping passes and the defense was hot garbage. Even despite all that, he had them with one last chance at the very end. Wentz is the very last person to be putting any blame on. - Sublime55
hes not at the top of the list but hes not blameless. Miamis D is atrocious. He over threw Jeffery deep on three separate possessions. Like I said, this had to be a game that he put them on his shoulders and willed them to victory.
with that said, the defense was brutal but fitzpatrick kicked their ass. Doug and Gym Shorts were completely outcoached |

My expectations were dramatically lowered after they got blasted in back-to-back weeks by Minny and Dallas. Even then, I held out some hope that they might return to some respectability if they could get healthy.
Now, I feel like we’re just watching them play out the rest of the string....I’m numb at this point. It’s amazing how different everyone feels now when there was legitimate SB aspirations before week 1. |

You're reaching in blaming Wentz. Deep passes are low percentage passes for a reason. How many balls did Fitizpatrick throw up for grabs that his receivers out battled the Eagles for? That's the game there.
Schwartz played zone and they were beaten. He played man to man and they were beaten. |

The sad thing is some people think that Schwartz is holding them back.I don't think he's amazing or anything, but look at who he has to work with. Can't make chicken salad out of chicken poop. |

fitz gave his wr an opportunity to make the play. Over throws do not, they (these particular throws) are misthrows and are mistakes by the QB
Again, Wentz needed to be better than he was, therefore, he is blamable. Indisputable. Was he the main reason. No. I never said he was. |

you really thought they had talent on the roster? not even the radio guys with the niners thought the team would be good |

A good completion percentage in the NFL is what? Around 65%. Which means about 35% of passes are not completed. As I stated earlier, deep throws have the lowest percentage of completion. Deep balls are often over thrown or off target. You're reaching desperately here to hold onto a mistaken premise. Wentz had a solid game. Didn't Wentz give Ertz an opportunity to make a play? |

Yes, I wasn't expecting them to be this good but I expected them to win 8-9 games in a tougher division. |

Thefirst half is asinine. Yes, he did and ertz dropped it. Ertz is to blame too. You think Im reaching because you dont fundamentally understand the game. Youre absolution and defense of Wentz under performing in crucial moments this past month is hilarious.
In the first half, on the drives that led to FGs, several bad passes killed those drives. Wentz's game wasnt solid. It was average and he needed to be and should be better. Not a mistaken premise, you just dont want to accept it |

This has not been a good year for him, whether it’s been overestimating their WR depth, keeping Agholor for one more year or failing to add any receivers at the deadline. |
