disagree big time

I'm not against firing Gym Shorts, I just disagree that he deserves more blame than Howie does

Ill go on record and say, Doug's in-game play calling has been the biggest issue this this

Thefirst half is asinine. Yes, he did and ertz dropped it. Ertz is to blame too. You think Im reaching because you dont fundamentally understand the game. Youre absolution and defense of Wentz under performing in crucial moments this past month is hilarious.

- KINGKENZO

You can't back it up. Knowing that deep balls are low percentage passes is understanding the game fundamentally. That escapes you. The discussion we're having is on today's game.

In the first half, on the drives that led to FGs, several bad passes killed those drives. Wentz's game wasnt solid. It was average and he needed to be and should be better. Not a mistaken premise, you just dont want to accept it

- KINGKENZO

Wentz threw for over 300 yards and 3 TD's. He had two other plays that were potential TD throws that weren't caught. His completion percentage was 61%. By anyone's standard that is a solid game. He guided the offense to 31 points.

The first player you criticized was Wentz. It seems as though you don't fundamentally understand the game.

The coaching staff and players deserve blame as well, but I still think Howie failed to address this team's weaknesses. This roster is flawed even when healthy.

You've degraded down to a 1st grade level because you know that you're off base. Nothing was ignored. Who you blamed first in posting is telling. I posted why Wentz had a solid game. You ignored it apparently if I use the same standard.

I’m a Jets fan. They’ve lost to Miami and Cincinnati. In fact they were the team that ended Cleveland’s streak last season too. After a while you get numb to it and just laugh. It could always be worse... like being a Mets fan too.

Defense is culprit today. Gave up 34 total to Sea & NE and let Fitzmagic go for 37. Offense produced and gave them rest. No turnovers. Just a bad team.

I've been an advocate of blowing it up as I don't feel this team can win a cup, but am happy to be wrong and I'm loving this team so far. I don't like Fletcher but I loved the AV hire. It's very nice seeing some of the young guys play the way they are. I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy it, good or bad for once........As far as the Eagles, lots of problems all around but not sure how anyone can say Wentz has been anything but average thus far in his career, which is concerning given the contract he signed.

fitz gave his wr an opportunity to make the play. Over throws do not, they (these particular throws) are misthrows and are mistakes by the QB

Again, Wentz needed to be better than he was, therefore, he is blamable. Indisputable. Was he the main reason. No. I never said he was.

- KINGKENZO

most of those long balls were thrown up for grabs and the eagles DBs were either not looking back at the ball or out jumped. quality corners probably pick a few. meanwhile the most reliable receiver drops 2 that probably are or lead to TDs. several drives killed by dumb penalties and a missed FG .

maybe call a freaking time out on the fake fg when you see that formation. you are up 14 against one of the worse run defense teams so lets throw the ball 70% of the time.

wentz played well putting up 31 points. did he miss some throws? sure, guess what, all QBs do. he did enough clearly to win even with the drops, penalties and missed fg.

How dare you speak ill of Saint Wentz. He put up 3 TDs and 300 yards against one of the worst teams in football. Just give him a few HOF-caliber receivers and you'll realize that he's the best QB of all time.

Biggest problem with the eagles is their absolute inability to hit on big plays. It is crippling them. The other team doesn’t have to worry about 35-40% of the field to defend.

Wentz is not a dink and dunk precision passer. He’s a qb that needs and wants to go down the field and I’m glad we have that type of Qb. These receivers just can’t do it

Losing Jackson has completely taken away their ability to stretch the field offensively. With that being said, they put up 31 points against a team that was averaging 14 points coming into the game. Pitiful effort by the defense.

Watching the Eagles game yesterday, makes me even happier that the Flyers are playing well.

BTW - Wentz wasn't the problem yesterday, the defense was. I'm 5'7 with not great speed. I wouldn't have done any worse than Jalen Mills. Well, maybe I wouldn't have looked at the ref every time my back got sunburn from being burnt so much play after play.

Their roster is old and flawed. Time to tear it down and get younger. Also - need to cut the cancer out of the locker room too. Good bye Alshon, good bye Nelly.

The Eagles don't make plays. That includes the defense and the offense. What receiver on the Eagles could do what DeVante Parker did yesterday? They have a group bad to pretty good players everywhere on this team. Lane Johnson, Cox, Brooks, Ertz and Kelce are the only players that can be counted as tops at the position they play.

They also play dumb football. Get up 14 and completely abandon the run?! They just do not have a winning formula right now. Some of it is talent but most of it is coaching. At minimum the WR coach should be gone. Most can't catch or run a proper route.

This team is starting to gel, some up and down play from the bottom of the defense as well as some guys not producing offensively as much as they could but the main thing is we are playing the right way. 4 winnable games last week and we go 4-0, good teams win the games they should as cliché as that sounds.

This is the biggest issue this year in my opinion, which is the coaching/play calling. Doug Pederson is an absolutely horrible in game coach. His play calling is absolutely atrocious and he is out coached on a near week in week out basis. the last good game he called was against Green Bay, where he ran, controlled the game, was adapting to what GB was giving him and then attacking. I don't know what has happened since then, and yeah the Chicago game was a win but he almost coached us out of a win there. I don't get what has happened to him but if this is the path that Doug will be on, just throwing, throwing throwing and not taking into account what is going on in game situations, we will not win. He as a coach, is tasked with putting our players in the best positions to succeed, and not only is he not doing that, he is hanging our guys out to dry.

We beat Detroit in blow out fashion but Detroit is also the league’s worst team. Montreal was another game where we went up a goal in the third and let them right back in. We won and that’s great but a lot of three point games by the Flyers in November.

Leafs and Yokes are above average teams. Let’s see how we handle this week.
