I think Bennett would actually be a really good add for the Sabres. We need some 3rd/4th line grit and somebody who will stand up for his teammates. I wonder what it would cost? Hopefully a UFA like Bogo or Scandella. Playoff teams are always looking for D-depth.

Watch the game again and this time pay attention

There is an old saying, if it hits your hands you can catch it. Whether it’s football or hockey he needs to catch that.

Did you watch Anderson make the two saves on Olofsson in the OT ?

Take a lap I can’t even believe I’m responding to you right now.

Whether or not we hit posts or crossbars Anderson made an additional 5-6 saves Hutton would have let in.

Scandella made more saves then Hutton did in prime scoring areas.

I’d take either! Although bjugstad is probably 6-8 weeks out. Just having “core” surgery. Dubinsky has been out since the start of the year with a wrist. Wonder how close he is? He’d be feisty on the dot...

didn't know that about bjugstadt...have always like what dubi brings...his cap-hit is high for his production and he's been having trouble staying on the ice the last couple years, but he's a gritty, top-nine center

and, btw...that no-goal by sheary, really was a goal...

there is white completely surrounding the black puck that is in his glove behind the red line and red post...

go ahead, @ me

edit: if they had zoom-in technology (which is something they should have, right?,) a zoom in would prove my point

I’m more into him for the intangible play. I know we need production. But I’d like dubi for showing this team and the kids the gritty side of the game. And 2 more years at $5.8 could fit in if some of the scrap is moved

You don’t have to respond to me as you have your opinions and I have mine. I’m a fan of both teams and love to watch them play each other. It’s my opinion that Anderson lucked out and was very lucky to get this game to overtime. His best save was actually a goal and his friends post and crossbar played a big part in the win similar to Scandella helping Hutton.
I will simply agree to disagree with your take on this game vs mine.

It looked to me anyway that it hit the shaft of Olafsons stick then went straight up off Hutton’s glove. His stick was definitely in the way but it happens to quick to be sure.

I watched the replay a number of times...I didn't see it hit olofsson's stick nor was there anyone in front of hutton, nor did anyone else deflect it

Yeah I didn't see it hit anything, but it does seem to rise a bit about half way there. But Hutton still has to make that save.

Yeah if you go to EK's cover page, they have a shot of it, shows the puck through the mesh of the glove clearly in by a 1/2 inch

We knew the November schedule would be a bear.

We’re still in the playoff mix.

It’s not as good as it was, but it’s also much better than it has been.

That’s the way life always goes.

I’m still rooting.

Anybody here that wouldn't have been happy in July with the thought of being one point out of third in the division on Dec 1?
