I wouldn't be at all surprised if he has CTE. If he doesn't yet, he's probably will. It's actually really sad he's still playing
- jcragcrumple

Maybe if he’s forced to retire because of brain damage the Pegulas can hire him as GM since that’s their thing.

Maybe the Thanksgiving game will make him want to come here...

I saw that...

Makes me curious

I know this draft is supposed to be super deep in WR's

What about DE's and CB's?

I would rather find a starter on the other side of Tre and get a pass rusher in the draft and spend the money on Cooper in FA...

But I am sure there are other possibilities out there.

Plus with Brown leading the AFC in receiving do the Bills really need a big name WR?

Kyle Okposo told the media he thought about the possibility of retirement after suffering the concussion, but he got the answers/response needed to play and is excited to be back.

Expects to return some time during Western Canada trip.

Okay he thought about it which means he knows it's not good...

Byron Lewis might be out in Dallas according to the same report...though White is going to need to get paid soon as well.

I did mean the score sheet. All the intangibles are great, but if a player like that isn't putting up the numbers, he isn't moving the needle at all.
- buffalofan19

Can't say I disagree with that take. He does need to score, but the other stops at least provides some value for when he's "off".

He just needs to minimize the time he's "off".

Yeah my thoughts as well

It would be better to draft a CB to play on the other side of Tre (you don't want too much money tied up in 1 position)

I would spend FA money on a legit pass rusher

I would love for a guy like Cooper to come to Buffalo because it shows the NFL this team is for real, but the question is does this offense really need a guy like him? How much more would he bring to the team?

As good as they have been playing as of late (as of late being the key words), they still are low middle of the pack in passing offense. There is still a lot of room for improvement.

Bills have a 3 year window with Allen being on a rookie deal, I say take care of Milano now, White if possible, and swing for a home run like Cooper if they can.

Besides him the UFA WR's are pretty much duds.

Only because they have killed teams though.

He's been around 8 YPA the last 3 games which is really good.

For sure there is, but that also has to do with Allen and Dabol

They aren't a throw it 40 times a game team and I don't think they want to be either.

Yup since the Cleveland game:

Offense: gone up-tempo, mostly no huddle, and mostly exclusively 11 personnel. Results:

Average/game: 27 pts, 401 yards

Josh Allen: 67% comp.; 8.19 yards/att; 6 TD, 1 INT; 155 rushing yards, 2 TD

I think you’re contradicting yourself here
If you’re looking long term, and not at the next 50 games, then we do not need a 2C
We’ve got Mitts & Cozens
One of them will surely fill that role for us

- jdfitz77

Pro tip: it won’t be mittlestadt. He sucks.

It is, but I'm not so sure it's sustainable without another weapon. I'm not dead set on the idea, but it's not one I think we are in a position to dismiss either. If there is interest on both sides (no idea if there is or not, my comment about the Thanksgiving game was mostly in jest), they need to have a serious conversation about it.

Anytime you have a chance to add someone like Cooper who is only 25 years old you have to have those conversations especially if there is mutual interest, but you have to make sure it makes sense as well.

Oh I agree. They need to load up the next 3 seasons and go for it every year

The good thing about Pegula is he will always front-load and always will match guaranteed money.

Like all UFA's I'd say it's slim but who knows

Agreed, but I also think they need to be a team where if they have to throw it 40 times a game, they can, and still win. I can't find the stat, but I saw that Allen is 0 for some amount when throwing more than 30 times (possibly 35). More weapons are the only way to accomplish that.

Broads's point about Allen still being on his rookie deal is also a consideration.

Let's be honest. He's going to New England if Brady stays on another year.

That said, Stripes' idea of going WR and Corner in rounds 1 & 2 doesn't upset me either. It doesn't necessarily have to be in that order either. Just don't trade up for them in the draft, like Beane seems to like to do.

Did you see Brady attempt a deep ball last night in the final 2 mins?

It was ugly looking

Seriously Brady is the GOAT but I really think he's done

Uh, one player you had to buy every UFA year, the other was buying two years of UFA.

You realize how much Eichel would get on the open market, right?

- sbroads24

I think we are going to have Kyle Okposo and Matt Moulson buyers remorse on steroids with Skinner in a couple of years at the least. It can be argued we were between a rock and a hard place but It will be a contract we regret.

This is a smoking hot take, but I hope he does play again next year. He is tossing up some wounded ducks. As the year moves on he looks tired

He is still pretty deadly within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage but anything deeper than 20 yards he is really hurting.

Granted their offense is all about those 5-7 yard routes but man he is def showing his age

He had one play yesterday where he went deep into double coverage and didn't have the zip to get it over the top on the defenders. I'm not saying the wheels are falling off but the end is nigh

That means you think Skinner is going to be a 20 to 30 point player starting as soon as next year or the year after?
