It's going to be interesting for sure what they do with him. He's a declining asset over there as more and more players enter the league and he can't play this year. Unless Edmonton thinks he'll join the team next year somehow, they'll probably start to get antsy about their playoffs as they year goes on.

It was neither a brawl nor a fight. A bunch of tubby middle aged drunk guys tripping over each other. The Canucks are tougher than those mooks.

I talked with Tyler Madden about his hot start — with 22 points in 16 games, he’s tied for most goals in the NCAA with 12.

Madden has already matched his goal output from last year in 20 fewer games.

“My linemates are playing well. It has been a good start, confidence is high.”

1 more year of college, 1/2 years in Utica

Based on his point production and his size, I would think one more year in college followed by a year in Utica is the likely path, very similar to Gaudette.
