Not really, my argument is he will depreciate within about two years and leave us with 6-7 years of a nine million dollar waste on our roster that many fans will clamor to try to ditch like they are Okposo, Bogo, Moulson but he will be taking up a spot on the roster that a 1st line player should have.

You really love to use hindsight to try and prove things. That's not how it works. That's why the percentages are very nebulous early in the season, and get more and more tangible as the season progresses.

I’ve been saying the “real football starts in November” since week 3. How many teams start hot and fall flat on their face ? Look at any team sport.

How do Indianapolis Colts and Carolina Panthers fans feel right now ? Those teams were both looking good until the last 4 weeks.

Titans and Steelers have come out of nowhere.

The games carry more significance later in the season and are harder to win then the games at the beginning of the year.

In the NHL, the Blues and Bruins were the two hottest teams from January onwards and played each other for the cup. The Lightning fell flat on their face cause they played a team that was playing for their lives the last month and a half of their season.

Two years from now 6 years, he is already going down from last year so he is depreciating in value. He did as soon as he signed that contract, he was untradeable because no one would take him for that deal.
