Saw this on twitter from a guy who I think used to post here but.
“Larsson (defensively sound, good passer, no finish) was always a good theoretical match with Skinner (exceptional at getting to and finishing dangerous chances, not great defensively)
Hockey is a sport where sometimes what seems like an odd pairing works for these reasons” Ntrider
I said something similar in the last blog #galaxybrain |

Mitts looks much more comfortable on the wing. I think his lack of top end speed will restrict him from being a good Center. - Pegullaville
It might, but there’s guys like Tavares that have made it work
From what I’ve heard...
Mitts has been dedicated to learning how to play Center in his own end,
and that’s been hurting him a bit offensively
I think at some point we are gonna see him take a big step forward
He’s been showing flashes of his offensive talent this year
And i wonder if/when it makes sense to give Sam another look at Center?
Maybe he’s the 2C that would slot perfectly with Skinner |

Problem is that'll be the reason they don't need to get one in Botterill's mind. |

Is it me or was John Gurtler an underrated play by play announcer? One thing is certain, nobody could call out a “First down Buffalo” at Rich Stadium like that guy. |

Why aren't you running the team? Your track record suggests an impressive resume that the Pegulas and the entire Sabres team would benefit from having in their administration.
Could the Board offer our references so you can apply? - TC4145
