Everyone female doging about Reinhart should look at the '17 draft and be grateful
Hischier
Patrick - jcragcrumple
Sam had 1 shot tonight
Just got back from the game. Completely irrelevant, again.
You jokers want to give him 7.5 million long term.

The tough part is that you know he's asking much higher.

Seriously, why are you constantly defending sam?
He's had some good games, but he looks really slow and useless lately.

You're probably right. No way they pay him, unless things turn around.
* time for a sammer to tell me hes on pace for 70 points |

He has two things going for him imo:
Firstly, heās generally been a slow starter and turned it on in the second half.
Secondly, Iāve seen people bash him on his production if we made it to the playoffs and things got tighter. When the lightning were playing us with a heavy type game, I think he got 4 goals in 3 games if Iām not mistaken?
Weāll see how the rest of the season shakes out, but I was on the train of 5x5 a couple years ago and I still would like something like that (he wonāt accept but a man can hope) |

Because he's a good player. And every (frank)ing day we have to hear about a guy who no one whose job it is ever thought he was going to be picked there. Drafting in the NHL is a crap shoot, it's been 5 (frank)ing years, let it (frank)ing go already. FFS. |

Tonight he was completely useless.
He's getting completely outplayed by a rookie picked 179 picks later in the same draft.
What are you going to pay him?

They are talking regarding Hall and another player from another team. IMO I don't think Botterill will give up what the Devils are looking for but you never know. A lot will depend on what Hall is looking for per year. Like i said before, you can't have 3-4 players making 9-10 mill a year. - SABRES 89

Sam played great in sweden.
Basically nothing since.
Kinda started fast, now he's slowed down. |

I really just want to get back to looking forward to flipping between the Sabres game and the MNF game hoping that Dalvin Cook and Rashad Penny can get me a combined 23.27 points. - buffalofan19
Never thought Penny putting up 25 would be how I got it done. Hopefully Cook's injury isn't long term. |

He's the second really big long-term decision JB has to make. Jack was easy. Skinner was hard. Really no clue where he's going on this, but if I had to guess, I'd say he goes the conservative route and only buys a few UFA years. Something similar to the Nylander deal, but a bit shorter.

His trade value will be less also. š¤
The Sammers "visionville" bs is a mirage.
Guy plays a few good games and everyone thinks hes a 7 or 8 million $ guy.
When he plays well , I admit it.
When he plays poorly, someone throws out "hes on pace for" stats.
Hes playing with eichel. What a joke.

Good post:
3 for 16
4 for 22
5.5-5.75 and it's a reasonable contract.
He was drafted to be a center. Failed miserably.
Now he coasts with eich daddy.

He is a good player, but I get his point to an extent. I think Reinhart ends up getting more than he's worth either here or elsewhere. He's the exact type of player that bad teams overpay for in Free Agency. If the Sabres were to sell high on him, I don't see myself losing sleep. That doesn't mean that I want him traded tomorrow or just given away, but you can, I think, make up his production with a savvy enough trade.
The other side of this is that I am not sure Botterill has the vision or even the testicular fortitude to make a trade like that. |

Youāre that worried about how he looked in a game we won 7-1 ?
Sam is a proven good player in this league
YOU donāt like him... thatās fine
But youāre being overly critical of him
Iād pay him in the neighborhood of 6x6 |
