Really? You think jbotts needs a few wingers?
1st I've heard of it? I'd say oloffson and now asplund could help move Casey to a wing spot permanently.
But, go on... and on and on.
Hey okposo and his tradeless contract are back.
What's your feelings on Larsson and girgs? - Boss34
Actually I've been very complimentary of them lately. The past 5 or so games have been good. They seemed to take a turn after Lazar beat that dude up. They woke up and said "we gotta save our phoney baloney jobs" |

The funny part about the entire convo is Krueger has said he has Skinner on a different line because he's one of the few who can drive offense and he wants balanced scoring.
If Skinner was so mediocre he'd have what, 5 goals maybe with the 2nd and 3rd liners he's played wth? - sbroads24
Never said he was mediocre, just want him to cash in on some of those chances he's had. |

1.) Sign player to $9m per
2.) Play him with the worst offensive talent on team
3.) Still has 10 goals
4.) Complain that he has no assists

Once Johansson went down, he should have been put with Mittelstadt. To me, anything else is inexcusable. |

Maybe if Skinner could put together back to back 30 goal seasons and average more than 54 points a year we wouldn’t be diving deep into analytical discussion’s to determine whether or not he’s worth the “elite” money he’s being paid right now. |

5. Throw out an arbitrary number like "His last 50 games" or back to back 30 goal seasons to make point |

Yea I mean actual point production takes a back seat to expected goals, takeaways and penalties drawn.
The team who wins the game scores more then the other team. Not the team who takes away the puck more or draws more penalties.
But yes I get it, using factual evidence over the sample size of an entire career isn’t enough for you.
PP goals don’t matter, SHG’s don’t matter, assists don’t matter.
Anything else ?

Here's factual evidence -
When Jeff Skinner is on the ice, the team he plays for scores more goals than they give up, controls play, controls scoring chances, and overall is better, than when he is not on the ice.
And it's been that way his entire career
And I can find you a bunch of players with more assists who you cannot say the same thing about |

This really started with that Reinhart has no assists or fewer than Laine who I would trade Reinhart for I was insinuating and also stating he, Laine, is not a one-trick pony as was stated by our analytics experts on the site. Of course, it would take more than Reinhart for Laine even if it is at all possible since they did talk about him in the offseason. This should sit well. |

15 pts, 9 mil. 2nd line PP. He plays with the studs on the PP, well did until he was demoted to the 2nd PP and nutin'. |

Technically he is a one trick pony still, but now it's a different trick for the same pony. He doesn't score at a generational rate anymore, but he's got some assists through 26 games |
