It’s hilarious to watch these two dig themselves such a deep hole.
It’s gonna be fun to see the back tracking - sbroads24
The odd part is if we were just talking about the merits of what he brings vs the price we paid, it would be a good/interesting discussion.
Its just being clogged down with a bunch of garbage about why he isn't good that has no basis in reality
2nd best offensive player on the team (Maybe olofsson passes him). Boomers must blame the good players always. |

Skinner is what he's been for a long time.
a 30~ goal, 50~ point guy who is capable of pushing both of those number up by about 10 or down by about 5 depending on deployment. - BINGO!
No franking poop. |

This will be glorious when there are people trying to get rid of Skinner sooner rather than later off our cap. You are joined at the hip with him, you already missed on the one guy you wanted in Colin Miller, wait for #2 |

It’s the hilarious part.
They’ve gone so far off the deep end trying To be right about his contract they’ve now come to the conclusion he’s actually bad.
There’s no going back and it’s gonna be a fun ride.
It’s going to be very coincidental that Sheary and Larsson break their scoring slumps soon |

That's in his prime and we are stuck with him for 8 years and that 50 pt 30 goals won't be there for long is my point and it stirs the pot. |

So Skinner is bad right now or will be in the future because of his contract?
What are we all saying here? |

See and people wonder why I‘ve always patted myself on the back over the years.
I told you Erod was an average 4th liner at best and you went and bought his jersey.
Now when Skinner barely breaks 50 points this year, if he even gets there at this point, and doesn’t finish his contract here I’ll pat myself on the back again. |

I've always found that doing so is distasteful. I could tell you my list of takes that turned out to be right, but would that make me feel better? Not really
Your Broncos takes this year have been superb though. Flacco's taking you to the promised land, baby! Maybe he'll come back to win those all important November and December football games |

Jeff Skinner draws a penalty that leads to a goal, and scores a 5 on 5 goal
Rasmus Ristolainen or hell, Rasmus Dahlin passes two puck over to Olofsson and then Reinhart who each score goals
Dahlin has two assists
Skinner has 1 goal
You wanna convince me that Dahlin had the better game? |

Eichel had 4 goals in 25 games with Skinner and shot at the worst shooting percentage of his career with until they brought someone who can generate a slot shot opportunity in Reinhart on to that line.
Skinner is a volume shooter. Basically Evander Kane with a bit more hockey IQ and less physicality. At least E.Kane is one of the better penalty killers in the league and can chip in a few PP goals.

I only said he has 15 points you can call that bad if you want for a 9 million dollar player, I said he was a good player but brings little to the table but goals. If he's not producing is he earning his paycheck and I am confident his usefulness to the team will go down soon. Book mark this, whatever you want.
I was right about Sekera being a solid player when most wanted him run out of town
I was right about Meyers not being a dman to build your team on who couldn't make an outlet pass, was soft and would be 5 or 6 dman if he didn't have the size or reach.
I was right about Reinhart being a ho-hum second line player who couldn't get space and was not dynamic but would be soild.
I was right about ROR being a player you don't trade, he is one you trade for when many wanted him dealt.
I was right about not trading for Matt Moulson
I was luke warm for Okposo
I was wrong about Sam Bennett, never saw him play just went by evaluations and he was almost a year younger than Reinhart and my ho-hum opinion of Reinhart
So, we'll see if I'm right about this.

Why aren't you running the team? Your track record suggests an impressive resume that the Pegulas and the entire Sabres team would benefit from having in their administration.
Could the Board offer our references so you can apply?

I said the Broncos needed only average QB play because I felt the Broncos defence would return to being elite and they would run the ball well.
“Run the ball and play elite defence gives you a chance to win every game.” Was my exact quote
Kind of fitting though that the two teams who run the ball the most in the NFL and have elite defences are both 10-2 and played a hell of a game this past Sunday.
To add to that point the Bills have a top 5 defence as well and up until the Dolphins game a couple of weeks ago had average QB play and we’re 6-3 at the time before Allen started to heat up.

Are the Broncos going to make a push in the most important month of the year? They only need to win 7 of their next 4 |

The folks on both sides of the argument have backed themselves into a corner. If Skinner hits 30+ goals, pro-Skinner wins and anti-Skinner looks foolish. If he doesn't, the opposite is true. The only out is injury. |
