You = generally sarcasm
Don = drunk
Lord H = honest

That's sort of how I have it pegged. Just sayin', extreme views and extreme parody become indiscernible online

Edit: and that wasn't directed at you per say, just a general observation

If that's how you have things pegged.

Maybe this will start a general impression discussion on how who views who in this zoo.

EDIT: yes I am sarcastic and facetious and also serious and I like long walks on the beach.

Don is a drunk with a give no quarter, type of guy.

Lord Humungous is about as honest a christian reform alliance person can be honest, which really isn't honest unless you (royal you) belong in his club.

Olli Juolevi is participating in a non-contact jersey during skills session Tuesday.
He’s not available for interviews, yet.

Couldn't he wear a no tough question jersey for the interviews?

Hockey has been re-invented, some of these questions can ruin a career. The team is shielding him. Pretty soon the NHL will have to review these questions beforehand.

I don’t drink during the day. I just don’t like p$ssys 🤷‍♂️ Babcock and Peters are getting what they deserve. But the snowflakes coming out saying their feelings were hurt can (frank) off. Wipe your tears with the millions of dollars you made. Hugs for everyone 🥰🤗🤗🤗

Edit. I don’t drink often in general. Maybe 2-3 nights per week. But when I drink I sometimes get a bit angry and rant about hockey. Sorry to the snowflakes that get offended ❄️ 🤗

While I agree with your point of their being a line where people need to suck it up because it's really not that bad, the bolded is a horribly weak argument to make.

That’s your opinion. It’s pro sports and coaches are going to verbally abuse you as a motivational tactic. Players could have quit ten years ago if it was too much. That said, times are changing and coaches need to adapt. Sorry if I don’t have sympathy for guys like Avery.

Exactly. The PA will be demanding all coaches and management take sensitivity training soon ffs. Maybe a GM needs to ask a player without a NTC how he "feels" about getting traded or sent to the minors. Something like that can leave huge emotional scars and de-rail a career. GFY sissies.

Money doesn't buy happiness, plain and simple.

I struggle a bit more with the guys who were trying to end others careers while they played, but there are stories that need to be told that are coming out as a result. The Franzen story that Chelios told is a good example.

Obviously there are limits to what you can reasonably expect in pro sports. Of course the coaches are going to scream and yell on the bench and give you poop if you're not working hard enough, that's their job. I think Bisonnette articulated it pretty well on his podcast, talking about where those lines are.

You think there aren't other coaches in the NHL/AHL who have done similar things?

The game is changing, down the road there will be no physicality or yelling. It will become a peaceful game full of harmony.

I'm just bugging you about the drinking, seem like you're living that Yaletown lifestyle

Verbal abuse in the NHL is one thing, but physical abuse is something else. Both of those things definitely shouldn't be happening with kids/teens though.

It's also a bit grey on the verbal side of things when it's coming from the coach, who has the power to play/bench/determine aspects of your career and there's no real way to get out of that day in, day out situation. Motivational versus just tearing someone down as a human being.

I was punched out by a coach when I was 10. I got over it. Of course it shouldn’t happen but I’m not going to bring it up many years down the road. I’m sure the d!ck head has remorse

Weird. Would rather see Leivo and Goldy switched.
