Barely man.
Ceci could of not wanted SB.
And we can all agree the Leafs would be a worse team without him right now. No one is replacing his 22 mins on the RS. - Santo_44
All I did was indicate that I didn't think the leafs original plan was to trade him during the year by mentioning they didn't give him a signing bonus. That's all. It's not even a strong opinion I hold, it was just a contrary point.

Agreed
Wasn't it that Pittsburgh game where it looked like the entire team was on strike, too? |

I was just pointing out that there are a lot of people in here with strange double standards.
Babcock didnt do anything close as bad as new Jesus Keefe - however it's easy to kick people in the back and be part of the 'speaking about defending people's rights, so i'm really cool' crew - MaximusAurelius
If the Keefe/James stuff was kept quiet and nothing had already come to a head, then def we would be talking about him in the same fashion as others.
That stuff is something that played out publicly and its not something that was just uncovered this week by some of the victims coming forward.
So its understandable its not a focus like others at this time |

Oh good, you are still on this.
I was worried you had come to your senses and figured out that a 16-year-old who was under the weird influence of a cultish agent (and the 16-year-old never committed a crime) should be cut a little slack.
Carry on. - Atomic Wedgie

All three goals will be from using that highly-effective little twirly shot where he stands below the goal line and tries to flip it into the net between his legs, with the goalie standing in front of him, completely covering the net.

It's like his goal is to try to talk himself into trouble - specially when doing the repetitive stuff...
He used to have some interesting ideas, but when you hear an idea being YELLED out on a daily basis... |

Especially if the person involved was a grown adult rather than a 16 year old who has yet, to anybody's knowledge, ever been charged with a crime. |

Yep, and I think that’s a bad assumption to make based on not having a SB bonus.
It’s pretty likely Ceci did not want SB. Why? He probably wants to ensure he has a good long shot with a team to prove his worth.
The no signing bonus makes him less tradable early in the year.
But come TDL? It doesn’t make him less tradable.
So for Dubas...if Ceci didn’t want SB does he lose him for nothing? I’m glad he didn’t...the D would be a lot worse. |

I was watching some show thing a few weeks ago. There was a part in it about the human brain. Young males do not have the ability to properly distinguish there rights and wrongs and decision making until the age of 18-19. This is due to the frontal lobe of the brain not being fully developed until such time. Hence outside influences such as peer pressure are a command factor for bad decision making.

Interesting to read these former disgruntled players. Chelios sounds disappointed in his use in his aging years... and this is news? Chelios was like what, 45? The Franzen interview is odd. What did Mike actually do? Yell at him a few times? Maybe Franzen has trouble sleeping from all the concussions he got? Didn't they end his career?
I think what must be kept in mind is that professional hockey cannot be compared to a normal workplace. If so, then what other workplace allows guys to bash each others faces in and simply get a 5 minute penalty? Or allows some guys to lick others faces with no consequences? Or has rampant drug use? Physical abuse and racism has no place, but some of this sounds like sour grapes imo... |

Isn't Wilson in bad health and basically retired? I think they're going after people that are working/could still potentially work. |
