Lawson also had a sack, but he was thwarted too easily and too often. Hughes eventually turned it on in the second half, but even he struggled against left tackle Tyron Smith in the first half. Outside of Hughes, the Bills just aren’t getting a good enough push from the edges to impact the quarterback.

The Cowboys do have a talented offensive line, but the Bills should be putting up more of a fight than they did on Thursday. You can make a strong case for the Bills overhauling the position next season. Hughes will be back, but beyond that, everything should be up in the air. At this point, it’s safe to call Murphy a free-agent bust. He’s not playing as well as he usually does against the run and, because of it, he’s running the risk of being a cap casualty in the offseason. Some still want the Bills to re-sign Lawson, but unless it’s low-term or a manageable average salary, he isn’t a potent enough pass rusher to warrant a high-dollar, long-term deal. The Bills need more from the position in 2020, and there isn’t any hope on the roster past Hughes. Significant changes could be on the way this offseason.

2 of those sacks (Oliver), the INT and the blocked FG (Lotulelei) came from the Defensive Tackles.

The interior of the D-Line has been very good. The edges have left a lot to be desired all year. When the Cowboys ran to the edges they had success. I'm not sure why they abandoned that, nor do I really care at this point. He's right. The DE's need to be upgraded. None of them are a threat you have to gameplan for except maybe Hughes. We will find out on Sunday against Baltimore, who loves to run to the outside with both Jackson and Ingram.

It depends on how much Lawson wants. His stats are a little inflated compared to his actual production (QB pressures and against the run).

Watching the Nashville/Bolts game. Douchebag Cernak gave another brutal elbow in this game. Obviously the 2 game suspension wasn't a deterrent to him. And once again, the refs didn't even call a 2 minute penalty.
