3. he has already taken over the number 1 in rochester and top 6 goalie in GAA in ahl this season

4. he has had 89 starts in north america, not 30

5. he's 24 and they need to know what they have with him so if nothing else, he should get a cup of coffee this season with the sabres, it allows them to call up 6 k for a few games with rochester

I wouldn't bring up Johansson for a cup of coffee while in a situation where every single point is could matter unless we absolutely had to. If we're out of the playoff hunt give him and UPL some starts at the end of the season. Ullmark has been quietly playing better and more consistent thus earning more starts. He'll probably get 2 starts on this trip and rightfully so. No need to tinker there unless absolutely necessary. I think the hopeful 3 year plan with Hutton and Ullmark all along was split year 1, Ullmark shows signs and gets more starts in year 2 and in year 3 Ullmark is legit number 1 and Hutton is the backup and moral support.

Don't think that's really that hot of a take as he's better then Sam, and prolly pushes them out of last place, if even only by one spot. I'll let the arguers fight over if we're better with Dahlin and Reinhart or Drai and whoever the Oilers took in Dahlin's draft. I was just sayin...
