For anyone scoring at home, Dea and Lazar were sent down without going through waivers. That means they were emergency recalls, and it just wasn't reported that way. It's stupid that they don't give us that detail. It also means that we could theoretically call up Cozens, should need arise.

He's tied for the points lead and one off the goal lead. Sign him to his ELC and get him up here. (frank) it

He did sign his ELC. Still some limitations on how long they can recall him for. They really need to burn these stupid rules.

The AHL rule is one that I wish would go away, though I can see why the CHL has it assuming they still have the leverage they once did. However, once a player is in Juniors, I look at it as no different than college.

I really don't see why the CHL has an ounce of leverage in these deals.

this does add some pressure to the bills game. If they 49er it, i take that as a win.

I am more concerned about winning on Sunday night vs the steelers. Way more attention will be on that game plus, its a must win. If we get to 10 win its almost a playoff lock.

Ravens game I think we all agree will be a loss. Just how bad of a loss it to be determined.

While I take the Kreider rumour with a grain of salt (EK) if there is any truth I like it but I would not give more than McCabe or Risto straight up

I wouldn't even do that. He's a pending UFA.

A. He's played 17:23 per game. 3rd most 5 on 5 time of any forward
B. He was on the top PP unit on Tuesday
C. 28 games is closer to 25% of the season than 50% of the season. It's 34% of the season.

So once again, a bunch of provably false statements from the guy who's rarely ever wrong according to himself.

He's also tied for 15th in the NHL with 13 primary 5 on 5 points.

Which is more than Elias Pettersson, Barkov, Point, Barzal, Reinhart, Patrick Kane.

He's been great this year, again

All this shows me why he would earn every penny of a $7M contract.

How many of those players that you mentioned in the bottom half of the post would you say would be obtainable for Skinner for a 1 for 1 ? Possibky Reinhart whom I’d even have to give the edge due to age.

I think Jeff’s even strength production is quite impressive. I understand it’s harder to produce at 5v5 then when you are on the PP, however all goals count the same. When you have two forwards making as much money as Boston’s top trio your PP should never go through a 2/39 stretch.

8 year contracts should only be given to franchise cornerstones like Jack Eichel and Rasmus Dahlin (eventually when he fulfills his potential)

I do not think for one second it was a coincidence that Botts took until June to resign him. He was stuck between a rock and a hard place and gave in. Just because his predecessors couldn’t draft worth a poop doesn’t mean throwing 8 years at a “good” hockey player is a good idea. Two wrongs don’t make a right.

Even playing most of the season with Eichel he couldn’t break 70 points. I know total points don’t matter to you but Jesus if secondary assists and PP assists were so easy to obtain how do you not luck into 30-35 with all of those on ice minutes with Jack and Sam.

Spezza has more P/60 then Matthews. Should we trade the house for him ?

So if he had 10 more secondary assists, you would stop talking about Jeff Skinner?

Bergeron signed his deal 6 years ago, Marchand 3 years ago(he signed it fresh off a 61 point season, a career high), and Pastrnak is only on his second deal which was also signed 3 years ago. How about a comparison that's a little more up to date?

Why is it a loss, we have just as much chance to win that game as the ravens....if we don’t turn the ball over... it should be a great game. Jackson is not going to beat the bills throwing... stop the run win the game
