Jack Eichel was once compared to Derek Roy.

Wasn’t worth $10M. Was underachieving until 10 games ago.

The stuff you would have read the last 3 years would have made you cringe.

Saying anything about Reinhart or Skinner though boy watch out.

The expectations for Eichel are some reason vastly different than the ones for Reinhart despite the same draft status.

Why not take a crack at Mittledtat and Tage not living up to expectations.

They both cost first round capital and neither has made *any* meaningful contribution in the NHL well beyond 2 years after their draft class.

Mittelstadt has been disappointing, has shown a glimpse of life on the wing however. Tage’s development was trending upwards before the injury but you’re not wrong about immediate dividends for both players.

Sheary is useless, Erod is useless, Girgensons is useless, Sobotka is useless, Okposo is useless, Mojo needs to figure it out he’s been ass since he’s came back from injury, McCabe is useless, Hutton has been useless since game 7.

Doesn’t change my opinion that Sam and Jeff are both good but not “top end” players.

My personal belief is that those two never reached their full potential because the Sabres were never able to find a solid 1C. They were really good players who did the best they could considering the circumstances

Why are we not on Hutton, Rodrigues, Okposo, Sheary?

I single them out because I know there good players, with the team we have we can't afford then to disappear for long stretches like they do. The other 4 are what they are, 3 players who fill spots and a 7mill dollar medical problem that should have retired last year
