I can picture all of you fawning over Skinner and Reinhart doing the same for Vanek, Roy, Connolly etc during the Dary years where they could do no wrong either. Blind loyalty looks so juvenile after a while.
11 f*cking assists for Reinhart and he is supposed to be a playmaker. Some nights you never notice him. I just want to notice the top end players, is that too much to ask? - GilPerreault11

I'd like to see what these analytics are from this year and last when he had 4 goals in 25 games in the last half of last year. That is a huge analytic. |

For what it's worth, the Calgary blogger thinks Skinner is elite. See point #4 - SabreWest
People with common sense seem to see this. |

Evander Kane shot the puck into the vest a lot too. He killed penalties and had a big body though too but what that didn't make him very popular not that I'm saying it should have. I'm just wondering why these supposed analytics for Skinner give him one. - GilPerreault11
Evander Kane didn't have a quarter of the impact that Jeff Skinner has always had for his teams. |

But yeah what an assumption he has |

It’s baffling that we overpaid a 30-40 goal scorer about 1 million dollars and his center is Lockport Larry...... and we are complaining about his production.
I mean come on!
And Reinhart the day of the draft was considered the number 1 offensive player and king Leon was the biggest question mark.
How about we move on from this convo? It’s boring |

If he was so elite there would be a market for him but there isn't. As soon as he signed that contract he was untradeable so some Sabres fans might like the per 60 mins stat which are nice for an untradeable player.
Anyway, I thought he needed to play with Jack, it's the coach's fault he isn't producing and people coudn't believe they had a 9 mil dollar winger on the 3rd line stifling him. Obviously there is something about the eye test that we have all seen I just wasn't making excuses. |

I would rather read a pitchfork review of DJ Bogo's latest mix tape than read any more of this. Its day 3 of the same discussion |

Sheary's first goal was actually pretty impressive. Domignue might never play in the league again because of the second.
I'm not saying secondary assists are necessarily easy. It's still a point in the NHL. What they are though is "secondary" and two more very good plays without possession being lost must come after the secondary assist for a goal to be scored. So, While all points do count they really aren't all the same. Sometimes that secondary assist is a 5 foot touch pass to Eichel, sometimes it's breaking the puck cleanly out of the zone. Never is a secondary assist driving the puck to the net drawing two defenders and finding an open man who has time and space to score. - Bufsaints8
Sure, you can also argue the guy doesn’t score if the secondary player doesn’t make the play to get it to the primary point getters |

You forgot the fact that he was playing with a high ankle sprain that looked very, very bad? Or will that just be another "excuse" |

He's immovable, despite us just re-signing him and not trying to move him.
He isn't producing, despite producing.
He's making good points (unlike Skinner) |

I can't wait for Reinhart to go off tonight.
Gil has a penchant for being really wrong, a lot.
I'm calling 2 goals for 23

“Another denier, are you on the he draws penalties once in awhile train because he doesn't set up plays see his assist total, primary assists
And how how about if Tremaine Edmonds or TreDavious White doesn't bring they are in trouble? Better?
Think gray and you will be a deeper, better thinker not black and white.

1.) If you want to know where they are you clearly have the internet so look them up.
2.) Skinner and Reinhart are very very different players.
3.) I could make a very good argument that you live in the black and white world. If fact, I will...
"The black-or-white fallacy occurs in arguments that have a disjunctive premiss―that is, one that gives alternatives―when one or more alternatives is incorrectly omitted. The fallacy tries to force you to choose either black or white when gray is an available alternative."
White: All players are performing exceptionally well, outperforming expectation, their contracts and past performances night in and night out.
Black: This team has fatal flaws and players because I can't notice a player every singe shift.
3.) The rest of these posts make you sound borderline illiterate, have never played organized sports before, and have such an unrealistic take on how a player can perform night in and night out over an 82 game season that it is actually quite funny but also sad. |
