Not in yards per attempt. They are top 5 - sbroads24
Sure because they run the ball so effectively they that teams have to commit men to the box. Most of lamar’s passes are deep down the field. |

Devils fans probably thanking Sabres for the ass kicking, as NJ fired their coach today. - Ratsreign
I just had a Devil fan at work shake my hand, pat my back, and thank the Sabres for putting that coach out of his misery. Sounds like they’re all ready to move on from that guy. |

The point is saying they have the “25th ranked passing attack” is misleading, and not really true. Total yards is a bad stat to go on. Efficiency is how you are evaluated
They throw it like a top 5 team. They’re just usually up by so much they don’t have to.

These lists are similar every year, because winning teams spend a lot of time ahead, and run clock in garbage time
These three teams are also top 5 in yards per pass, along with Kansas City and Minnesota.
Usually teams who are always winning have more rushing yards
top 5 teams in Yards per attempt **RUSHING
Baltimore
Arizona
Carolina
Cleveland
Houston
Those records are a smidge different eh? - sbroads24
There are many variables that go into yards per attempt as well, yards after the catch being a big one. Lack of rushing attempts inflate yards per run. A team being forced to pass can also restrict their yards are per attempt.
The fact of the matter is. The teams who play strong defence and run the ball are successful.
The Rams were a run oriented offence when Goff tore it up last year. The Vikings and 49ers are cut from the same cloth (all came from the Mike Shanahan coaching tree)
The Ravens success on the ground gives them the big play ability through the air.

The Islanders have scored more goals than 6 other teams in the NHL so far this season. 4/5 of those teams are in the bottom 5 in overall league standings.
The Islanders are 18-5-2. The Islanders also lost John Tavares for nothing. Seems like they recovered well. |

I was not able to watch the game unfortunately I was in Toronto watching the Raptors.
The Broncos got up early and then went to a very vanilla run heavy offence and it almost costed them again just like it did against the Vikings though from what I read.
I did not see it with my own eyes though and I know groupthink is frowned upon so I think we can dismiss this post from the evidence pile. |

Yeah because they got Barry Trotz for nothing. Pretty fortunate but getting nothing for Tavares was a mistake. They could have even just sent him to Toronto and gotten some kind of assets but it all worked out so as long as you have a system and a farm in place you should be fine. |

I was 19, but the excuses you’re making in order to validate taking Reinhart over Leon are cute. - Pegullaville
I thought you just turned 21? 5 years ago you would've been 16. But ok, even 19 year olds don't know their bumhole from their elbow, or poop from Shinola.
I never said "no one on Earth wanted Draisaitl over Reinhart" I said "no one whose job it was had him ranked higher" try and keep up. After all, you just hammered someone the other day about reading comprehension. |

There is a reason why Tim Murray and Ron Hextall are out of a job. How long before Ray Shero’s seat gets hot ?
Reinhart is a good hockey player, it could definitely be worse, could also be a lot better. |

There’s a chick outside of Toronto who accused Cody Hodgson of getting “handsy” in the car after a movie.
Cody Hodgson is never coming back. |
