The whole cut down Risto minutes thing that every coach we’ve had the last 4 years have promised to do is finally happening the last few weeks.

He’s averaging around 20 minutes instead of 24 and wouldn’t you know it, he’s been much better.

Trade them for anything you can get at the deadline. We have replacements in Rochester.
- seedy

I'd let them both go at the deadline if they felt they could get Hopkins or Pageau

tied for 28th

I think vesey is fine on the cheap for 2 or 3 years

They've been playing 7d tho, so hopefully the coach realizes its working once they go back to 6 d

Send Dea and Lazar back down to Rochester and let Erod take their place warming up the press box seats.

Continue to play 11 forwards and 7 D, gives Skinner and Vesey a few extra shifts taking a twirl with the 4th line cause they don’t make me want to throw up in my mouth like Erod does.

why not just keep them and let those replacements stay in Rochester?

or if you get one of those, either Vesey or sheary can be dropped a line to add more quality depth

I don't want to hear botts this summer say we had to find a way to keep girgens, larsson, vesey and sheary for the up coming season

they are assets that we could not let walk away

don't like the fact that I may have to eat some crow on that...like the fact that he's continuing to develop in a winning system

for me, it's not even 2020 yet...but as of now, the 4th round or lower pick you'd get for either straight-up is worth less than seeing if this group, hopefully augmented by at least one more quality piece up-front, can break the playoff drought this season

Let them walk. Sheary probably ended Domingue's career with a goofy goal off a blocker. Vesey was invisible for 20 games
- jcragcrumple

I'd let erod walk- right to the ahl

Sheary is %100 every shift.
Great playoff experience

Notice Larsson's 3 assists in the first period?

Is Sheary’s playoff experience important to this year’s team?

If the Sabres are making a run at the playoffs, yes why wouldnt it be?

Am I missing something?

Ah yes, the leader of the 3rd worst PK in the league. Indispensable. Full credit to him for playing well with Skinner though

I’m unsure if this is a tank year or a playoff year.

Is it a coincidence that the PK's been awful since Sobotka was knocked out. A truly honest question.

how 'bout a "learn-to-play-the-right-way-all-the-time" year that will have ups and downs?

A hockey team with Vesey as the number 10-11 forward in this 11F 7D rotation Krueger is going with would have a pretty solid group. That would require two good adds at or before the deadline?
