Hall - Eichel - Reinhart makes me happy.

Winning teams are built down the middle. Not down the Left Wing

Nnaaahhhh! He’s a LW right? I’m off the Hall wagon. Bring me the center from Tampa. Cerilli (spelling). I’m not giving up assets for a rental that’s going to cost huge money at a position of strength (skinner, olo, Vesey). How many do you need?

Bring me the center!

- Gr8daygo

Thank you.
Voice of reason.

Although, when he signs for $10.0m, plays 74 games and produces 73 pts shooting 9.7% some posters are going to go absolutely batsh!t crazy why he isn't out producing Jack by 5%.
Does he play Center? Right Wing?
Maybe Ray would be nice and throw in a RhD into the deal.

So no balance in the team and jack the cap up for future signings. So you can have you second $9-$11 million LW playing with erod and asplund. We’ve been patient this long. Bring me the younger Tampa center.

Tampa is not moving Cirelli.

Whoever was saying Hammond wasn't doing well in Rochester.

Month of November, Hammond is 5-0-1 w/ 3 shutouts and a 0.950 SV% since 11/1.

In the 12 games he's played, he's had 2 bad games, letting in 13 goals. Outside of those 2, his SV% is 0.940...

#1 in the league.

He is too expensive to acquire and too expensive to sign when you can use that capital on a CENTER!

Samson - drafted as a center, not a center

Mitts - drafted as a center, forced into it, not a center at this point. And doesn’t look close

Gus - drafted as a center if I remember. Barely a center. Certainly not a 2.

Erod - undrafted as a wing. Plays better at center. A 4th at best.

Asplund. - drafted as a center, promising as the 3.

Cozens - drafted as a center, please for the love of all that is hockey, don’t force the kid to play 2c in year one.

Grigirenko - drafted as a center. Mismanaged, ruined and I’m sure some self inflected.

Johansson - was a center 5 ish years ago. Should be on the wing.

Please, if you are going to spend the assets that include mitts. A young d man like Pilut and a pick. Do it for a freaking CENTER.

If we are looking for a wingerr, a Colin Miller for Tyler Toffoli type of move would make sense

Spector's has the Sabres trade capital for Hall as Mitts, Pilut and lottery protected 1st. Think I would have to have that conversation with Shero.
- Buff36

Wow, wonder who said Mitts and a 1st a couple days ago.

I would make that trade right now without hesitation. Providing we can extend Hall.

No, but I said Mitts and a 1st to start with a few days ago. We don't need to pay Hall 10 mill a year. Can't have 3-4 guys making 10 mill a year.

You can if you want to be Toronto.

I don't think that's ever going to work out well for them.

Hall is a good player but we need a 2nd line center and a RW IMO, I just don't see paying another guy 10 mill a year is going to help us move forward. But that's my opinion.

No, sorry.
What is ridiculous is you and Pegullaville expecting a player to outperform nine...9 years of statical history! He is shooting this season EXACTLY where his average is...but you want more.
That is ridiculous.

He's overpaid by about $1m. That is it. THAT is the problem. It isn't his production.
Just because they paid him more than 9 seasons of history would tell you they should have, him being overpaid isn't going to get over production on a consistent basis.
Law of Diminishinf Returns...look it up as it applies directly to your position here.

Meh, i think they'd be fine with a mediocre defense. Time will tell, but I think they have the right idea.

Bang on. Didn’t you mention that botts called about cerelli at the deadline last year? And trades can take 12~14 months per botts. So cerelli in February?

Your opinion is spot on.
It is bad asset management to waste them and $10m per year on a guy who
Plays an average of 70 games per year
Produces an average of 74 pts per year
Shoots at 9.7%
Is a LW, when 2C and RW are obvious holes in the top 6.

Take those assets and go pry loose a 2C

I said he called about Cirelli recently, Tampa may need him, they have a lot of big contracts and may need a player that won't cost over 8 a year.

Go get a guy like Oshie, 5.75 a year for another 5 years I think it is. Caps may have to move contracts, they did with Stephenson this week.

I don't care about the contract, already stated that, I care that he is not cashing in on his chances, which he has had. I really don't care about your Diminishing return bullpoop, score goals, you have had plenty of chances, that's what I care about and the Sabres winning games, because if he would have cashed in on some of those chances we would have one more games. I guess I just expect more from are good players.

I expect more from everybody on the team, not just Skinner and Rhino. But those players are our supposed core players, and should be held to a higher standard. If that's wrong for me to think that way, then so be it.
