Tavares could have gone anywhere, he wants to be here. Matthews, I dunno man. Would it be better to just make Nylander a 2nd line centre and move Matthews and Kappy or Johnsson for a stud D and a backup or a winger with some size?

In the summer I thought a Matthews for Doughty plus was a worthwhile consideration. But that was when they still had Kadri. They can't move him now. Locked in folks, this is the team, only at the end of this year even less flexibility with all the roster positions needing to be filled. And thats just to ice a mediocre blah team. It's a mess.

I see AM acknowledged the quit tonight and saying all the stuff I heard after the Pittsburgh game ... it’s like cut and paste.

Now for sure it’s not all on him... however somewhere along this road the talk becomes redundant and just whatever ... these guys are in their 3rd year and need to start taking the bull by the horns.

Honestly thought we had a good 1st of this game, didn't like the turnovers but even the second we seemed to just hit that point where we are just grinding and then it turns and we make mistakes and kill ourselves. The turnovers just caught up.

The third well... didn't think it was too bad till the end when we just packed it in and just let the goals come. That was embarassing.

Really I don't think Nylander gets moved even though I wouldn't be opposed to it. Dubas would have to really sell breaking his word there on moving him as it was utterly necessary for the team. I think Kap and Johnsson either or could go.

Package of a couple players but honestly think we have all the skill need a Roberts type all heart type player to fire things up more. Can we get that in a trade? Not sure.

Tomorrow I really don't think we are going to win and thinking Dubas really needs to fix that situation as it were too.

Gonna be a long game tomorrow I think.
