It's weird how much more heat the Leafs get than any other team. - RogerRoeper
And even then only the Bruins have more than 5 wins in their past 10....
I also believe the Leafs have been the 3rd best team in the past 7 games. |

If the Leafs have "Flaws", how do we descirbe the Habs roster? - RogerRoeper
A) who cares
B) they have a game in hand, lost 8 in row and are still tied with the leafs. So one could say just as flawed as the leafs? |

If it was the other way around we would be saying the Habs are the good team and the Leafs aren’t because the Habs caught up to the leafs. |

I don't think Leafs get credit for their roster. Every team has "Flaws", but to pretend Habs, Sabres, Panthers, ETC are better is stupid.
I'm sure all of you wish we had Bobrovsky LOL |

So let's just get to the numbers, shall we?
The Leafs are currently playing at a 52% success rate, on track for 85 points.
Last year, it took 98 points to make the playoffs in the Eastern Conference.
To get to 98 points, the Leafs need to play the rest of the season at a 64% rate - that's the equivalent of playing at a 105 point clip over 82 games.
Impossible? No.
Except when you add in the fact that this team is completely heartless, and we have a backup goalie who won't win us more than 2 games all year.
This season is over, boys. Time of death: December 3rd.

Based on record, i said "one could say". Not specifically me.
The habs aren't a concern of mine, quit deflecting to other teams.
Right now they have the same record. The leafs were suppose to be much better....and still may be. Theres time to turn this around.
I dont get worried until feb or so. |

No, no one can say.
I am mentioiningother teams because the "Flaws" argument directly relates to other teams above them. |

truth bomb - Tumbleweed
there is also the fact that they are 1 point out of 2nd and 3rd in the division.
the fact everyone else is also sputtering around with the Leafs makes the "on pace for" 91 points to make the top 3 in division |

every team has flaws....you just choose to ignore or make light of the MASSIVE flaws that exist on your team:
severe lack of depth
lack of back up goaltender
lack of quality prospects to fill holes
lack of dmen who know how to defend
soft and easy to play against
horribly top heavy in contracts making it impossible to fix these flaws |
