every team has flaws....you just choose to ignore or make light of the MASSIVE flaws that exist on your team:
lack of back up goaltender
lack of quality prospects to fill holes
lack of dmen who know how to defend
soft and easy to play against
horribly top heavy in contracts making it impossible to fix these flaws - haywoodjablome
Couple of points, 16 out of 31 teams are up against the cap. No depth? Where do you get that from? The production from the bottom 6 is strong and great value.
No prospects? Sandin and Liljegren will be ready to go soon.
All team I mentioned have larger flaws. |

we can say 94 points then. TB 95, Florida 94 - senstroll
TB likely picks it up. too deep of a deep.
if bob starts playing well, florida won't be caught.
plus, as teams out of the playoffs start fading, those numbers will likely go up. |

Florida 1 point ahead won't be caught? I get that Bob will likely play better, but it doesn't guarantee more wins. |

This is a definition of a leaf pessimist.
TB likely picks it up? Okay well then the Leafs pick it up.
If Bob starts playing well? What it Mitch Marner starts actually playing?

Wait those teams are better? HAHAHA. Look at their rosters.
Leafs need a 10 million goalie with an 870 save % - RogerRoeper
as opposed to an 11 million forward with 4 goals |

the leafs are quitters.
instead of holding the players accountable, they fired the coach.
until the the players are held accountable for quitting, things will get worse; not better. |

You mean the guy with is 10 years younger than Bobrovsky, was injured and on pace for 90 points before injury and had 94 last season?
What would people say about Bobrovsky if Leafs signed him?
I get it. it's Florida you don't hate them so they get a free pass. |

The Leafs are quitters.
However the Panthers, Sabres, Habs with almost identical records earn't quitters.
They are 4-2 since Keefe was hired. (frank)ing relax.
Enough of this "quitters" nonsense. |

You picked out the numbers from when the game was tied or close....Since Keefe was hired they have had a few dominant games where the score was lopsided and was ever tied or close.
You are knit picking games. |

Yep. that is what a guy who played in the NHL and was actually in the room said.
Funny how you contradict yourself on here.

the leafs should be a 110 point team.
the leafs are nowhere close to the team from last year that looked confident and were a lock to win with a 3rd period lead.
we'll see what they are made of shortly. colorado then a 4 game swing against st. louis, vancouver, calgary and edmonton.
these five games likely prove what they are today: a team that won't make the playoffs. |
