Is it safe to say signing Chiarot is turning into a pretty important move by Bergevin?

And, dare I say, a good one?

- Scabeh

they just lost 8 games in a row and likely sealed their playoff fate. i think maybe we should hold off on any praise for Marc Bergevin.

Yeah, calls haven't been in our favor for a while now.

I'm not a fan of calling out a refs conspiracy but... they could have helped us by doing their job a little bit better you know?

- Scabeh

the power play sucks again so i don't so much care about getting calls. i'm more concerned with them keeping the opposing power play off the ice as much as possible.

was it Armia who got called for slashing when both players went off? that was embarrassing.
- DoubleDown

Yep. Took me a while to find it. In fact, he was getting the initial call, because the "slash" happened first.

They are tied or 1 point away from like 4-5 other teams for a playoffs spot. They still control their fate.

And despite the latest losing streak, I'm just pointing out that Chiarot signing wasn't praised by fans when it happened, but so far, it's paying off.

Or would you think a Reilly/Kulak/Olofsson left side would have worked yesterday?
