He only has a few more games before he hits the 60 mark. The decision will be by the end of the month I would think.

the best scenario is a pipe dream and that's a Georgie/Shesty combo

but that would entail Lundqvist announcing this is his last year and he's retiring at end of this season

his actual salary goes down to 5.5 mil in his final year, he could make that up easily just moving into being an ambassador for the team

but, there is nothing about Lundqvist's demeanor that indicates he wants to hang it up, he looks as competitive as ever
