I thought they played well last night. Sometimes you play well and don't win. It happens.
*looks up* yep, the sky is still there |

So the timing of this article is kind of funny since folks have been talking about Sanheim’s underwhelming and inconsistent start. Although I have to say he and that pair looked good last night, jumping up and playing with confidence.

I didn't think Sanheim was good last night, he's been underwhelming for sure. |

I actually had season tickets (I split them with someone so I got 2 tickets for half the games) for about 20 years at one time but gave them up because of the cost. then did 10 games with another person for several years. I still end up going to 10-15 games a season but get the tickets on the secondary market because simply they are cheaper. - nastyflyergirl my family has had tickets since 83. I refuse to go to the games as money is better spent elsewhere.

Agree 100%. They have priced the middle peeps right out. To go there and spends upwards of hundreds Of dollars is not a wise investment. Despite somewhat winning don’t think many are sold. I am glad they are staying away as its long overdue. - daryl stanley
Fair. If fans see a legit contender they will be back. |

I don't agree that its due to being beat down over the last 40 years. there were many great team and good runs over the 40 year. I do agree its probably in part due to being beat down over the last 10 years. and ticket prices. its insane they raised ticket prices after losing in the first round or missing the playoffs the last few seasons. at a certain point they need to stop taking advantage of the fact that the Flyers have a hardcore group of fans that renew tickets no matter what. - nastyflyergirl
Agreed. It's a combination of not being happy with the product, as well as disgusted with prices being raised with lack of results. |

The 7 D 11 forwards line up may be ok for a game or two here or there but I’m not sure it’s the best plan for the whole month Raffl is going to be out.
Do you really want G and Couts and Hayes getting double shifted for a month? I did see Laughton playing both C and LW last night, but scrambled lines all game maybe not the best idea either.
Thankfully it’s only a month but I could see them trading for a bottom 6 C if the right deal comes along. Too bad Rubtsov got hurt, it might have been a good opportunity for him. I don’t think they trust Vorobyev too much but I guess he’ll get some games now? - Marc D
It's only a month provided another forward doesn't get injured. All the top prospects are already on the roster, so there is no player NHL ready that they can plug in to account for injuries. |

Well, I did. I didn’t check stats or anything. Just watching, saw a lot of good stuff. Supporting forwards, nice scoring opportunities, aggressive offense and solid defensively.

Corduroy- Bills' answer should suffice but I have the temerity to expand. If Stewart is functioning as a cheer leader FOR the team, being a member OF the team makes his interests palpable and more blatantly sincere.
Better results for not much mo' money. |

Not saying he played bad but he looks like he has no confidence offensively. I thought Ghost looked awesome, get Hagg out now. |

Raffl and Patrick are injured, Frost & Farabee already on the roster. Rubstov & Andreoff are injured as well. I mean you really are stretching the roster in this scenario. How much depth do you expect them to have? |

His presence does not become an issue until everyone is healthy and a better player is sent down because they do not have enough roster spots. Not really a problem until NoPa comes back.
They could waive him. However, I am not 100% sure that is what they will do.

not at all. Where is carsen, vorobyev, bunnyman, NAK....if they are not better options than as I said that's not good.
also do you want to risk hagg getting hurt and hurting your defensive depth? |

I’m surprised a little that O’Reilly hasn’t had a look. Was he injured earlier?

They brought up Vorobyev didn't they? He will probably play on Saturday. 6 D-men would dress in that scenario. |

the thing is, this product is finally worth watching. people have been screaming for years so play the kids and they now are doing that. 10 players 25 and under. But i do 100% understand people wanting the Flyers to prove it to them before investing hard earned dollars. |

We've seen those players at the NHL level this year, and though it was a small sample, none of them are ready to be NHL players right now. |

Not sure what they’re going to do. I’m not talking about potential here, just the play we have seen from each this season...when Myers is on, he has been better than both but when he is off, Hagg and Ghost are better. Hagg is fairly consistent so I think it’s a hard choice.
