And now for something completely different...
Now, I don't really HATE hate any team in sports, but I find it extremely entertaining to watch the Cowboys lose. To not only lose, but to look kinda pathetic while doing so. The circus sideshow that is Mr Jones gets even better as their struggles deepen. Never liked him since he bought the starboys, I guess I just enjoy seeing his arrogant and smug look wiped away as he leaves his suite early, stammering to find a reason as to why his team Sucks right now.

This writer rips on Garret pretty good...lol,
He's a good all-situations clapper...

I had that feeling toward the vikings the year after they traded Keenum in for Cousins. I just wanted to see them crash and burn. Everyone thought they would cruise to a superbowl, especially because It was hosted in Minnesota

Brett Murray might earn himself an NHL contract.

It was impossible not to notice him at prospect camp. He's a prototypical Murray "heavy" named Murray which is pretty funny

More from the Jones circus 🤣
https://www.espn.com/nfl/...o-interview-cursing-twice
"The interview got off to a rocky start, with Jones telling the hosts to "get your damn act together" and saying he didn't like their attitude. Later in the interview, Jones used the word "bulls---" twice, leading the call to be disconnected after a delay button was used in each instance."

Cousins is a good but not great QB. He has yet to win a big game in his career.

Depending on whether you think Philly is real, there might be a wildcard spot open, but I think it will be a three horse race with us, the leafs and the panthers for the third divisional spot. Botterill has to give the team more fire power to get there. I doubt he will but we'll see

I think the Sabres bounce back with a nice regulation win tomorrow.

Olives belong in Martini's.

And Eggsalad.

Thought I would post this quote from article in the Athletic on NYI...
Anders Lee – the Islanders’ captain, a 40-goal scorer just two seasons ago, had only five goals on the season. Lee’s totals broke down this way: Five goals in the first 12 games; none in the next 11; and then goals in back-to-back games to end the slump. The mitigating circumstance in both of their cases was that the Islanders were winning – and in the NHL, winning mitigates every other circumstance and takes the pressure off the individual to produce, just so long as things are going well for the collective whole.

Interesting. I thought 40 goal scorers are always supposed to score 40 goals every season AND pot 1 every other game...no streaks allowed. Strip the C off that bust.

Yeah because it's wrong to expect goal scorer's to score and help your team. Cause you now maybe if they would have potted 1 in that streak we would have gotten those 2 points or 1 point the team needed. Especially when that 10 or 15 game stretch could mean playoffs or not. But hey looks great when at the end of the year he has 30 or 40 goals

Or it could be another example of a 29 year olds production falling off a cliff.

Hence why you don’t give long term deals to players in UFA.

You mean as stated in the very same paragraph that said poster quoted. The Islanders have been winning the whole time despite the slumps. The Sabres have not.
