Canucks 4-0 without Edler. Not pretty wins but still wins.

I've enjoyed the Canucks defence the past two games. More Hughes and Benn, Less Edler.

Don't like Benn playing against other teams top lines but like him with Tanev.

Fatburger reminds me of Luke Schenn but able to move the puck and skate without a piano on his back.

I still think Edler is the top guy now but that doesn't mean he still will be in two months. We might even get to see OJ for a couple of games if Edler is long term.

Yeah big reason why this team isn't crashing JTM in MVP territory. Hughes is getting better so fast adding to his game as a rookie. Now starting to drive the net if his finish improves watch out.

Well you can enjoy the team through ups & downs. Just sayin

Who says I didn’t / don’t enjoy the ups and downs? I made a wild prediction and you called me out. Just like your Rangers hate when they were down by 4 to the Habs. You enjoy calling people out when they see things differently, how about just take the L every now and again?

Nucker just pmed me. If you make a trade in the yahoo league, it resets your roster and you have to automatically set the roster again. Absolutely ridiculous rule by yahoo.

In College this evening

Cornell lost it's first game of the year to Dartmouth - Malone scoreless.

Harvard started 6-0 and have now lost 4 straight games - Rathbone one assist.

Northeastern lost - Madden scoreless, McDonaugh with a goal.

Sedin's gone more scoring yes because it was drafted and developed. Haven't got to developing enough defensemen yet.

The team is "better" when Edler and Tanev are in the line up. If they are playing first pairing, chances of this team winning a cup are lower. To get/ find top pairing D pretty much need to get lucky that one develops or draft high. I doubt Van is going to be drafting high again for a bit.

It's like ripping a band aid off though with Tanev and Edler, might hurt in the short but better in long term.

Tanev's a free agent and can be brought back next season. Trade him and bring him back if you want. Edler, it's just time to move on from Edler.

I'm hoping Colorado comes for Edler, it's not that far away from Van. Hopefully JB forces him out the door.

Brady Tkachuk needs to grow up and his game might grow as well.

Some pretty decent players that are having rough seasons. Might need a chance somewhere else.

Without a UFA or trade you probably have OJ and Tryamkin as closest to replace Edler and Tanev. Which probably means they are staying.

After a few real good pauses, I don't see any actual head contact just a really big hit and some whiplash for sure. Makar is only an inch or two taller than Marchand.

I'm not sure that's even fine worthy.
