I’m wrong for wanting to get him. Regardless if it helps us now. - Supirium99
Think of it like trading for Erik Karlsson than re-signing him. |

Perfect...what’s the consensus? - Pacificgem
Consensus is, most would like to have a player of Hall's stature, although it is split if the timing is right or not.
You cast the deciding vote. |

Huge plus. Trade was a win for Jim. Which may allow some extra spending when wanted, for a real high quality winger maybe
Don’t need to apologize for yelling. I’m not that soft. Probably take at least 2 Lattes to bring me down. - Supirium99
K good. I was worried I’d be fired for yelling and potentially kicking you |

I would love to get him, but I wouldn’t trade for him, too much for a franchise still building. As a UFA, absolutely! |

No deal....UFA or nothing! We are not good enough that his addition makes us a contender. |

How much is too much? You think it takes Brock or More to get him? |

This is where I stand too but not this year. Don't need the home run this year. In two more years with a few of our prospects and some players maturing , I think that is our time. |

I know all the personalities/narratives in here. Doesn’t bother me. For some reason, I read this sh1t everyday. Just rarely post. Thought I’d change up the current conversation, I expect nothing less. - Supirium99
Feel you pain, I do...
Read this garbage daily, why?
Addict, I am not.

Its always difficult to gauge timing on moves to give up futures and prospects for proven NHL players. I'm assuming that is what the Devils will want to sell Hall.
The its not time now argument was also raised in the JT Miller trade. If a player that makes your team better becomes available and the cost is affordable then you go for it. Shouldn't the evaluation be is Hall the right player and secondly what would the cost be? |

Benning said about two weeks ago they are not looking for outside help , they want to fins answers from within. Getting healthy and a long homestretch should give a better idea of where we stand. |

Hometown Hockey in my old stomping grounds of Prince Rupert, nice.
Not sure they will get any ex-nhl players, as the only player that actually played in Rupert was Rod Brind'amour, I think he is busy, but, nhl player agent, Kevin Epp also lived and played in Prince Rupert.
He represents OEL, Jake Virtanen amongst others. - Reubenkincade
We're getting hockey day in canada in Yellowknife in Feb. It could very well be -40 i hope Ron Maclean freezes his balls off |

Not at the cost to resign him with a small group of our young players needing new contacts. Stay the course and don't try to expedite the process. We don't need to be trading draft picks and prospects for someone staying a few months or staying with a massive new contract. The Canucks may not even make the playoffs. Do this move when you've gone a few rounds in the playoffs. - Marwood
I don't often compliment you on your posts, but this is a solid one. |

You know I am not a huge Bieksa fan but Ido find him entertaining on TV. I do like Freidman but the rest of the cast could be changed. |

I think Freidman is great and Hrudey is passable. David Amber is actually a pretty decent host.
Bieksa adds a much needed dynamic imo, they need someone to liven things up once in a while. |
