It looks like their whole PP is Jack or Risto trying to feed the one-timer to Oloffson. And every team knows how to defend it with sticks and bodies in the way.

Jack has a better shot than Oloffson. Not sure why he can't get it through his head to shoot more himself.

When the one timer isn't there and Jack has the puck, Sam hangs out on the red line and they have no one in front of the net. A shot isn't going to produce anything. It's so static and boring.

How about trying to run some plays for skinner on the PP? Why is he even on PP1 if he never gets a look to do something

Maybe they should just try getting the puck to the net and let skinner follow it there, but what do i know

Both skinner and reinhart are used as nothing more than predictable decoys. They never even try to work something from the back of the net out

Up top,
switch out Risto for Miller- he likes to bomb it
Down low,
maybe put Okposo in there for Sam
Let the guys up top fire shots at the net
Okposo & Skinner down low to clean up the rebounds (they’re probably our best 2 at that)

I get that everyone wants improved scoring...
but Larsson & Girgs have been effective “4th” liners for quite a while now

If we can get the “top9” scoring consistently,
there’s no issue with their lack of scoring
