I think he would have shown he is worth a 5OA pick if not for the injuries by now. I also think it was a mistake for him to import to the CHL instead of coming over on loan. He was AHL ready when drafted, but had to wait 2 years for it.

Agree, his development has been a cluster fuck to date. Feel bad for the kid, I do however think he's mentally tough enough to get through this.

When the injuries on D pile up again, hopefully he'll be ready for a shot in the big's.

You can blame the Canuck's for that. Their silence suggested things were way worse than they actually were. You combine that with his other bad luck and that's what you get.
