Either it's completely untrue...or it's an addiction. They have taped these "Do Your Job" segments in the past. That said, if you're going to do that to spy on a team, are you really going to risk it over a 1-win Bengals team? - buffalofan19
Looks to be untrue. Apparently they were filming for a segment and the Bengals had given them permission. |

It was the Browns that gave them permission as the segment was taped in Cleveland. The Bengals' issue is that they weren't aware of it until after.
That being said, I guarantee someone in New England looked at this idea and said: "I have an idea how to make the rest of the league poop its pants." |

not a dig on jack
perhaps the only "superstar" to not make the playoffs in his first five years in the nhl
the other 22 guys are that bad over the years - homiedclown
How many other teams intentionally destroyed their team to pick #1? Sabres tanked to epic levels. The rebuild is deeper
And :
We are in a playoff spot currently in eichels 5th year.
4-2-3 is a 100 pointish pace? |

#53 on the ice and #1 in our hearts (well, that is all of us except Pegullaville and GilPerrault)... - buffalofan19
Skinner doesn’t move the needle enough to warrant moving Olofsson off that line.
Olofsson is on pace for 31-37-68. |

I'll be teetering on the "fire Botterill" side if his big move is Galchenyuk.
Problem is with the Pegula's, the grass is usually never greener |

Wouldnt you say that:
Vesey is starting to look like a good move
Olofsson was handled properly and now a top 3/6
Asplund has played well
Resigning girgs and especially Larsson
Tage is hurt
All good moves by jbotts, I think were missing a 2C.
His patience has paid off 4-2-3

Yes, I’ve been preaching Vesey all year. Olofsson, yes. I gave up on him too quickly
Asplund hell yes |

Looking pretty green in orchard park yesterday
Losing by 7 to the best team in the nfl
9-4 how much greener do you want it?

If he can get him for a lesser prospect and a late round pick, I'll reserve judgment, but you're right, if Galy is the "answer" then Botts never knew the question. |

Now doubters will be quick to point out that Asplund and Olofsson were Murray picks, but I love that you bring up the point about how Botts’ patience has paid off for the development of those respective players.
If I had a dollar for every time people on here were losing their minds for him to call up Olofsson last year I’d be rich. There is no such thing has overcooking a prospect (however I don’t know how much more cooking a 24 year old Larry Pilut needs).
His management of Mitts though has ruined his confidence. I think he’ll be fine but I’m getting more worried by the day. |

It's a tough call though. I didn't hear many people complaining about rushing Mitts. A lot of people thought he was ready.
Given how poorly this year has went for him, an argument can be made he rushed Dahlin too, even though there wasn't much choice with him. |

They just can't waste what Eichel is doing by sitting capable D men in the press box, Pilut in Rochester, and not making a move. It's just ludicrous. |

I still dont like Vesey and I probably never will. Olofsson and Asplund were picked by Murray. I'm not going to count on Tage for anything
Girgensons and Larsson have played exceedingly well lately other than the PK. It's been good
Botterill still needs to do something but I doubt he will |

I can’t remember the last time a prospect like that fell from grace so quickly. 2 years ago at this time he was about to dominate the World Juniors.
Last year he was considered a top 5 prospect in the NHL league wide by multiple news outlets.
Maybe another case of Buffaluck.
Even Dahlin has struggled this year while Svechnikov has taken the league on fire. |

JB might make a move. Not sure what that’d be though. To be sure, if he does make a move and it’s not a good one, the story will be, “Terry/Kim made Botts make that trade.”
If the trade works well, there will be no mention of ownership. |
