They should have held the puck and made a change on the delayed penalty. |

Wonder what Jarry's record is in shootouts? I know MM isn't great. - hipcheck_goalie
Was in playoffs barely a problem...
Btw., your 0-0 comment above is restricted to the Pens i guess, as i remember a game this year were both goalies earned a shutout (0-0 after OT).

Really nice play by Jarry to prevent Jones from changing and an even better play by Rust.
3 SOs in 4 games for Jarry playing behind a MASH unit. Yeah, he's the starter. |

They are hard to watch. I have no expectations anymore with the man advantage. Just watching the seconds tick off.

It is so painful. It’s like... every single guy skates into the lane to shoot at shinpads. Guentzel was screening Korpi there in OT and whoever was carrying the puck on the left wall decided not to shoot and carried it back up top... and then shot into someone’s shins. I was like what the (frank)? You had a lane and a screen with Guentzel and didn’t even use it. |

It's almost like they're waiting for the perfect play / set-up that's never going to happen because nobody is moving. So, pass around the perimeter, take a bad shot into shin pads, then hope there isn't an odd-man rush the other way.
Hopefully they fix it soon. I don't understand why it's so hard to do something other than whatever lame scheme they are attempting now. The total lack of movement makes it so easy for the PK. |

Seems like any team that trades for Bogo should get an extra player for free. |

Jesse praising ZAR talking about how good defensively he’s been this season. Might not be something we want to get rid of at the moment. - j.boyd919
Yeah, Tojo posted that earlier. Kind of surprising, really, but definitely should keep him with Bjug and Horny out so much - we need all the RWs we can get. And he's cheap.
One thing I've noticed he's really good at is pinning the puck along the boards. I guess that qualifies as "one of the little things" haha. That whole line is really good about endless cycling in the offensive zone which probably props up the defensive stats (not a slight, just an observation). |
