Evander Kane is a great penalty killer.
4 coaches haven’t trusted Skinner enough to play him in a 3 on 3 OT cause he’s Bambi playing defence never mind have him kill a penalty. - Pegullaville
He's also a fantastic penalty taker.
I'm sure it's valuable to have him in the box regularly though |

I never said I like sam more then jack, I have decided to make him my pet project because the mass hate for him started 4 years ago, BECAUSE OF WHERE HE WAS DRAFTED
this logic is so stupid it makes most leaf, raider or any redneck SEC fan sound more intelligent then half of the sabre posters on this site
I did say Jack was expected to be a generational player, Sam was not
and Jack had to mature and work hard on D
despite the MANY posters that assumed I hated Jack and wasted hours of lives in pissing contests
Jack is NOW an elite NHL center that needs to be in the conversation for the second best center in the NHL
Nobody outside of some sabres fans could say that before THIS season
you really need to read what is typed, instead of making a half a$$ conclusion based on what you want to see
Sam did not sign your daughters object, get over it, it sucks but get over it
80% of the bickering bills would not have either
life is too f@cking short - homiedclown
I don’t think the Red Wings are throwing their season away for a Sam Reinhart. It has everything to do with where you are drafted man.
I’m sorry but a 2nd overall pick is a nearly untouchable asset.
What kind of package would you think would take to acquire one of Lafreniere or Byfield this year ?
We had a pot of gold and got half a return on our investment.
Sam is a good player, but not elite.
With Eichel and Barkov we are a cup contender. |

Great, so your defending him because no one else is?
Great logic
You've mentioned Sam's your favorite current Sabre in past postings .
You keep pointing out his point total, which is certainly respectable.
He is not a leader
He is not entertaining
He is not fast
He does not hit (ever)
He does not play physical
He rarely wins 1 on 1 battles
He's not known for playing defense
He cant play center 2 (which we need)
Doesnt penalty kill
Hasn't been successful on the pp
Doesn't drive his own line
And a complete Richard off the ice regardless of where he was picked. Which is also relevant.
But go on...... |

Stop settling for mediocrity. We should demand the Oilers trade us McDavid and Draisaitl for Eichel and Reinhart |

If we had Draisatil instead of Reinhart this team is first in the Atlantic right now.
If we had a functioning 3rd line instead of $9M tied up into a one dimensional winger we are president trophy candidates. |

Maybe botts will trade for a winger
Shoot 22 and 28 to the moon
Botts should be fired for not addressing the wing depth
Erod is a 50 point 2c
Speaking of mediocrity
I'm trusting Flacco's posts |

If you're angry with the middle-6, take it up with Botterill. We have a winger playing center and Mittelstadt in over his head |

I would correct you and tell you what I actually said, but you'll just purposefully ignore it within 2 pages.
Instead I'll just sit back and watch you get saltier and saltier while talking about Reinhart |

Larsson is more important to “team” success then Skinner is right now. In back to back games he put on a defensive clinic against McDavid/Draisaitl and ROR the “Selkie” winner was a -3 last night.
Larsson is also finally seeing more then 20% o-zone starts and believe it or not his offensive contributions have improved.
I wonder if he’ll get $9M a year for being elite at one facet of individual play though |

Since the start of 2016-17 Evander Kane is bottom 10 in the entire NHL in penalty differential
**Special teams ACE** - sbroads24
But from December to December he score elevendy Billion goals. |

Please show me the stats showing how Skinner has been more important to the teams success then Larsson.
The GLO line is one of the best lines in hockey in terms of team impact.
Idc if Skinner is given crap to play with, $9M says he gets paid to produce regardless and rise the play of others. He has no excuse to not contribute to our special teams or be brutal defensively. |

Only 7.5 more years of these debates with Skinner
8.5 years with Reinhart once he signs his max extension |

Ok. Cool. I don't know what to tell you.
It's not me who's bothered by Skinner's play.
He was all over the ice again last night.
Only 7.5 more years. It will go by quick |
