Tickets were insane, expensive and not much available. I’m going out there with a few guys that are not hockey fans, they weren’t willing to pay big bucks for decent seats so we bought standing room only tix on the side of the arena.

Any insider game day tips I need to know? Pre or post game hot spots? I mean it’s Vegas, you have to go out of your way to not have a good time, but asking anyway.

Edit: when I say pre or post game hot spots, I mean for the hockey crowd. Not Vegas in general, I need no help finding fun there.

Agreed. It is surprising that they don't have him down there already because supposedly Botts likes to develop the players in the minors. Oloffson is a great example of a guy who they developed perfectly in the minors.

Botts screwed up with Tage last this but got it right this year with him. Unfortunately he screwed up with Mitts as well. Down he needs to go.

But having said all of this, I am very happy to be a Sabres fan. A tremendous win tonight and now 3 in a row!

Eichel is 5th in points, 1st in the league in both end to end rushes and O-zone possession, 8th in slot pass completions (which is insane as he sits 2nd in the league in goals), and is 10th in the NHL in scoring chances off the rush.

The only other player in the NHL sitting in the top 10 in all of those categories is Connor McDavid.

Eichel is right there in the convo with McDavid, Crosby and Mackinnon as the best players in the world.

Well I get lucky and my uncle's friend with the Sabres gives my son and I VIP passes and tickets. Usually after the game I go home I have to get up early for work. This is a Friday night game I believe so, everywhere on the strip is going to be jammed packed . Except for work I don't go near the strip, to much bulls##t for me.
